Bottomless Pouch Enhanced

Smart item pickup solution inspired by Thaumcraft!

This mod reintroduces Thaumic Tinkerer's iconic Bottomless Pouch with significant improvements to its automation capabilities and user experience.

🔍 Core Functionality

  • Intelligent Item Collection
    Items automatically route to the pouch when:
    • The item already exists in the pouch
    • "Pickup All" mode is enabled (configurable)
    • Player's inventory is full (always active)
  • Detailed Tooltip Information
    Shows both:
    • Occupied slots (each stack counts as 1 slot)
    • Actual used space (item count vs total capacity)
    • Example: 1 dirt = 1 slot but only 1/64 space used

⚙️ Modpack Integration

You have full permission to include this mod in any modpack without obligations!

Configuration Options

  1. Global Shard Drops
    Disable End Shard/Nether Shard drops from all mobs simultaneously
  2. Per-Mob Drop Rates
    Configure drop chances for specific mobs (set to 0 to disable)

⚠️ Important Configuration Note:
Drop handling occurs on the backend. Config changes won't override drop rates modified by other methods (KubeJS, CraftTweaker, etc).

⚠️ CRITICAL FOR MODPACK AUTHORS

Prevent NBT Explosion:
If your pack contains any container items (shulker boxes, backpacks, etc), MUST add them to the pouch blacklist. Otherwise players can store these in the pouch, creating recursive NBT data that may corrupt worlds.

How to blacklist items:

  1. Create a datapack with this structure:
    data/bottomlesspouch/tags/items/pouch_prevented_items.json
  2. Add items using this format:
