Welcome to Demon Slayer: Breath of Nichirin.
This mod is in its first release and currently in beta. This mod aims to bring a fully fleshed-out Demon Slayer experience into Minecraft, centered around progression, combat, and style.
Combat is still early in development, but the foundation is in place. Right now, the mod includes a basic katana with a few functional moves. The goal is to expand this into a responsive and tactical combat system with things like parrying, posture mechanics, battle stances, and finishers—all designed to make fights feel intense and skill-based.
Outside of combat, future updates will focus on survival-integrated progression. Planned features include quests, mentors, training trials, traits, titles, and more. Things like reputation, crafting, 1v1 requests, auras, and leaderboards are all ideas currently in the works.
This mod will eventually be completely datapack friendly, which would allow editing and maybe even adding features to the mod without needing to code! Datapacks are still possible for this mod currently though.
My goal is to build something with long-term replayability. Like custom AI for demons and slayers, a full combo and mastery system, titles, PvP requests, sick visuals, leaderboards, and more are all planned or being worked on.

note: this is a solo project, but any type of help, wether it's modeling or just suggestions, is appreciated. note #2: some of the stuff i included in the description hasnt been added yet, so don't expect much. as i said, it is in beta and in its first release.
