Added
- Gather in the material list puts what's still to get on screen, wherever you go. It lists what you go out for (logs, not planks), counts what you carry and, with Sorted, what's in your chests, and goes away once everything is there.
- Picking up something on the list says how far along it is, above the hotbar. It also moves to the top of the card and stays there until you have enough.
- While gathering, the crafting table and the stonecutter say what to make from what you carry.
- In a Build together session, the others' cards leave a material to you once you start picking it up. Each card says who is getting what.
- BuildPrint's HUD tab in the settings has a Reset all panels button. It puts every HUD card back where it started, those of other VoxelSprout mods too.
- After you report a problem, BuildPrint tells you when a newer version is out, and where to get it. What you reported may already be fixed in it; the Modrinth and CurseForge links are in chat.
Changed
- The BuildPrint menu opens with
Bby default, notM, and the editor withG, notB.Mclashed with Litematica and Xaero's World Map. If you've played before, your keys stay as they were; change them under Controls. - Pasting on a server with FAWE sends the build as one schematic through FAWE's own upload, then pastes it in two commands. Much faster than block by block, and chest and sign contents still follow. Only the blocks that change are uploaded.
- BuildPrint Policy is now VoxelSprout Policy, and BuildPrint's messages say so. It sets rules for Sorted too. BuildPrint reads a server's rules the same way from either version.
Fixed
- A build with an end portal or an end gateway no longer crashes the game when its ghost comes into view. Their ghosts now show as the real thing, not faded.
- The HUD cards stop changing width as you look from block to block. A long block name used to stretch the card and a short one shrink it again, which made it hard to read; it now only narrows once it has stayed shorter for a couple of seconds.
- The HUD cards stay on screen with hitboxes shown. Hitboxes (F3+B, or Lunar Client's hitbox setting) and other F3 options that draw in the world used to hide every card as if F3 were open. With "Hide with F3" turned off in the HUD settings, they now also stay while F3 is open.
- Pasting with Axiom keeps sign text and chest contents, and places the build's entities, where the server allows it. They used to be lost on servers that don't let players run
/data; Axiom's server plugin now takes them itself. - Pasting with Axiom works on servers that reach older Minecraft versions through a proxy. BuildPrint used to fall back to WorldEdit there. This needs ViaFabricPlus or ViaFabric installed.
- A report you sent is told in game when it's marked fixed, not only when it gets an answer. The game checks as soon as it starts, and a fix in a version you don't have yet says to update.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
