Server rules
- Servers can turn Buildprint features off. A server running the new Buildprint Policy companion can turn off easy place, drag place, easy destroy, angel placement, auto-rotate, the printer, or creating schematics with the editor. It can also limit the printer's speed and range.
- You're told what's off. When you join, a chat line says what the server turned off, with a
link to the details. The shield in the top-left of the Buildprint menu, or
/buildprint rules, shows everything the server allows and any note from its admins. - Settings that are off on the server are greyed out with the reason. Their keys say they're off instead of doing nothing.
- Your own settings aren't changed. Everything works as before on servers without these rules.
Marketplace
- Marketplace previews are now WebP instead of PNG, so they're smaller downloads. Older versions of Buildprint can't read WebP and show an "update Buildprint" picture in place of each preview.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
