Announcements:
- Butchery 5.3 for Minecraft 26.1.2 will come later, I'm still working on fixes
- As of version 5.3 Butchery, as well as its addons from me, will no longer update for 1.21.4 or 1.21.8 as its getting too much to maintain. I'm sorry if you play these versions.
Added:
- Added skin rack drying time modifier config option
- Added skin rack leather yield modifier config option
- Added basin salt yield modifier config option (The basin by default gives 5 salt so for example if its changed from 1 to 2 it'll now give 10 salt)
- Added a config option to enable/disable carcass drops with farmers delight knives
- Added Ender Dragon carcass falling rather than just appearing on the ground
- New Hunter enchant that allows for carcasses to drop from bows and crossbows
- Added enchantment descriptions for butcher and hunter when Enchantment Description mod is installed
- Added Elder Spike trap
- Added a first join message that displays once when joining a new world with a link to the new wiki (can be disabled in config)
- Added fog to blood fluids
- Added player skins and names to the player corpses
Fixes:
- Fixed pig carcasses appearing on an empty rotisserie
- Fixed Ender Dragon falling into the portal and disappearing when killed
- Fixed brain not dropping when brain jar is broken
- Fixed wither and warden carcass being breakable
- Fixed chain not dropping with hook when broken
- Fixed Llama carcass not dropping when broken
Changes:
- Changed how timed events are handled (i.e. Carcasses bleeding, skin curing, pigs on the rotisserie cooking etc.) they will now pause when you leave the world and resume when you rejoin. This also applies when a chunk is unloaded then later reloaded when the player returns.
- Changed how blood is obtained for other mods like Blood Magic, Vampirism and Hexerei. Instead of changing the blood grate now you can shift+right click whilst holding a bucket to change its mod. The mode is displayed in the items tooltip. (Apologies if this has disrupted any automation but this had to be done due to a fault with a plugin the mod used)
- Reduced the blood puddle size when draining a carcass without a blood grate to 3x3
- Changed how ender pearls are obtained from enderman hearts. Now you must hold the heart in your off-hand and a cleaver/knife in your main hand and right click.
- Disabled weighted carcasses temporarily to improve performance
- Disabled overlay hints temporarily to improve performance
- Changed creeper drop - removing the creeper core (TNT) will now cause 2 - 6 gun powder to drop. It will also have a 25% chance to drop a TNT as well.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
