Capstones

Capstones are powerful chestplate abilities obtained through trading and world loot. Only one can be active at a time.

Blade Master

• Deals true damage on every melee hit with a sword while your off hand is empty
• Purchased from a max-level Weaponsmith

Juggernaut

• Permanently grants +10 bonus hearts
• Purchased from a max-level Armorsmith

Enchanter

• Converts your weapon's enchantability into bonus magic damage on hit. Gold weapons hit harder than netherite
• Purchased from a max-level Librarian

Slayer

• Your arrows deal 10% of the target's max HP as bonus damage
• Found in Stronghold library chests

Berserker

• Deal up to +100% bonus melee damage the lower your HP
• Rare drop from Vindicators

Pyromancer

• Periodically ignites all nearby enemies within 4 blocks
• Found in Nether Fortress chests

Beast Master

• Tamed wolves permanently gain Strength I and Speed I
• Found via archaeology in Trail Ruins

Summoner

• Press V to summon a loyal Vex that fights by your side for 30 seconds, with a 60 second cooldown
• Rare drop from Evokers

Thief

• Damages enemy armor on melee hits and firework explosions
• Found in Jungle Temple chests

Sculk

• Makes you completely invisible to Sculk Sensors and Wardens
• Found in Ancient City chests

Bard

• Beneficial status effects you apply are boosted by +1 level
• Purchased from a max-level Cleric

Witch

• Harmful status effects you apply are boosted by +1 level
• Rare drop from Witches

Supporting Enchantments

Flare (Axe, I-III) — If the target is on fire, extinguish it and deal bonus magic damage. Pairs well with Pyromancer.

Reckless Attack (Axe, I-III) — Deal bonus damage at the cost of hurting yourself. Self damage is half of the bonus dealt. Pairs well with Berserker or Juggernaut. Won't trigger if you're near death.

Rocket Jump (Boots, I) — Allows you to rocket jump with crossbow-fired fireworks.

Curse of Immolation — Continuously sets the holder on fire while the cursed item is held.

Curse of Aggression (Shield) — Raising your shield pulls aggro from all nearby hostile mobs.

All enchantments are obtainable through the enchanting table. Curses behave like vanilla curses.

General Mechanics

• Mutual exclusivity — each chestplate can only have one capstone applied to it
• Identity Crisis — swapping chestplates applies a 3-minute debuff that disables your capstone ability
• Config — all damage values, cooldowns, and radii are configurable in config/capstone.json
