You don't need to bring a map with you. Just walk into a village and you'll get one automatically, already filled in, showing the whole layout. It's a nice little reward for exploring, you stumble on a village and the game hands you something for it.
Villages also get real names instead of just being "a village." There's a pool of a thousand hand-picked names split by biome, so a desert village and a snowy one won't share the same vibe. Once a village has a name, that's its name for good.
If you're playing with friends, it's a bit of a race too. Whoever finds a village first gets credit for it, and everyone else who finds it later can see who beat them there.
Works fine in multiplayer. Only the server needs the mod, nobody else has to install anything.
Requirements:
Fabric API Server-side only, no client install needed
