CatFrame - 0.9.3
What is changed?
Change version number from previous to 0.9.3
➕Add:
- DisplayTransformExtension: add missing "head" default case; complete
- RenderPhase: add ITEM_HEAD enum (displayKey "head") and isAttachedItemPhase()
- Add dedicated RenderWitch host chain computeWitchPreTransform (witch-only
- BuiltinGeneratedModel and generated.json: add display "head" entry
- Add inheritance-as-declaration auto integration: derive blockstate namespace/name from registry names, auto-materialize inherited typed state definitions on resident rebuilds, make ModernBlock.register optional
🔧Fix:
- Fix display transform slot misplacement, add head default case, and correct docs
- correct fixed scale [0.5]->[1,1,1]; move null-display fallback out of the debug
- logging block so it takes effect in normal (non-debug) runs
- RenderJsonItemModel: fix class javadoc description of shouldUseRenderHelper
- Add ITEM_HEAD render phase and fix equipped-item transform chains
- RenderJsonItemModel: add head-slot detection (HeadSlotKind / resolveHeadSlotKind /
- Previously approved transform fixes:
- add properties for Catologes, also is fixing #4
- Fix mob-held item highlight (issue #4): sample world light at the holder entity position. Add a hand-entity context window in RenderJsonItemModel mirroring the dropped-entity mechanism; RenderPhasePolicy.handBrightness now uses the holder's own lightmap (getBrightnessForRender + burning fullbright) for non-player holders, matching 1.7.10 RenderManager.renderEntityStatic, while the local-player path and all fallbacks stay unchanged; docs synced
- Route block destroy/hit/blockdust particle textures through the model system: bake-time capture of textures.particle slot into BlockStateModelPart, metadata-aware particleIcon resolution across state models, ParticleIconResolver cache, and EntityDiggingFX constructor redirect mixin
- Fix glint overlaying transparent texels: enforce alpha test (GREATER 0.1) plus depth test per item flush group so transparent texels never write depth, restoring the GL_EQUAL depth-mask precondition of the enchantment glint pass; restore prior alpha func/ref and depth state after each group.
- Add implementation-as-declaration for IItemState mirroring the block side: IItemStateProvider gains optional getItemStateNamespace/getItemStateName resource-path hooks (empty falls back to registry name) and getDeclaredModelPaths for interface-driven texture collection; ModernItem overrides getDeclaredModelPaths replicating the former special-case semantics; ModelManagerDataLoader now auto-loads ItemState JSON per provider item (explicit path wins, tree binds under the item registry name for Baking 4a lookup, derived paths fail silently), re-scans the registry every stitch so late registrations and setModels declarations are picked up, dedups declared-property registration attempted-once, and derives namespaces via resolveItemStatePath; AsyncBakePipeline drops the ModernItem instanceof special case in collectItemModelPaths
❗❗❗Deprecated:
- No deprecations

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
