ChainMiningg

ChainMining is a precision chain-mining mod for Minecraft 1.12.2. Unlike other chain-mining mods, it provides granular block-matching modes and real-time visual feedback, giving you full control over exactly which blocks get mined.

Hold the activation hotkey and start mining — all matching blocks in range will break simultaneously.

See exactly which blocks will be chain-mined before you break anything. A colored wireframe highlights all matching blocks in range.

Chain Shapes Switch between shapes with Hotkey + Shift + Scroll Wheel:

Shapeless — Expands outward from the target block in all directions

Plane — Mines in a single plane facing the target block

3×3 Tunnel — Creates a 3×3 tunnel in the direction you're facing

Block Match Modes Switch modes with Hotkey + Shift + Ctrl + Scroll Wheel:

Meta Match — Matches by registry name + metadata value

NBT Match — Matches by registry name + NBT whitelist entries

Meta + NBT — Matches by registry name + metadata + NBT whitelist

Registry Only — Matches by registry name alone (ignores meta and NBT)

Adjustable Search Range Change the neighbor search radius on the fly with Hotkey + Shift + Alt + Scroll Wheel.

Tool & Block Blacklists Prevent specific tools from triggering chain mining, or exclude certain blocks from being mined. Supports wildcard matching.

HUD Overlay Displays your current match mode, chain shape, block count, and render statistics in real time.

Configurable Preview Color Change the wireframe preview color to any ARGB hex value via the config file.

Dependency ConfigAnytime is required as a frontend.
