🗡️ Charged Weapons
A mod currently in development aiming to add a brand new combat system without overloading the game with custom weapons or bosses.
📺 General Concept
This mod introduces a Charge Bar that fills up during combat. Every time you hit an entity or player, you gain +5 charge. Once the bar reaches 100, you can press "Z" while holding a specific weapon to unleash a special ability. Every weapon type has a unique special move.
🪓 Weapons
• Sword: Using the special grants you potion effects. The buffs get stronger depending on the sword's material.
• Axe: Upon activating the special, you gain Resistance for a short period. After a brief wind-up time, you unleash a heavy, raw damage strike. The damage scales with the axe's material.
• Trident: Unleashing the special creates a domain around you (AoE). Any entity caught inside is immobilized and debuffed for 8 seconds, while you gain aquatic buffs.
• Bow: Using the special makes you dash backward. Immediately after, you activate a special vision that applies Glowing and Levitation in a large area, exposing nearby entities and making them easy targets for your arrows.
• Crossbow: After a very short wind-up, you fire a high-speed fireball. The crossbow is the fastest weapon because it has no cooldown after using its special.
• Shield: Using the special performs a dodge (dash), leaving behind an explosion exactly where you were standing. It has a directional variation: if held in the off-hand (left), you dash forward; if held in the main hand (right), you dash backward.

My name is Zudoto, I'm a Brazilian dev working on my very first mod, so expect a few bugs along the way! I use MCreator, and I'm learning to code as I develop this project.
