The Charred Forest

"You step through the frame. As you go through, your imaginative and prescient thoughts starts degrading rapidly as the skies start completely filling with ashes. "strange..." you think wondering to yourself. The grass below your feet crunches like stone. You wonder what catastrophe could've induced this tragedy."

this is a mod i have been working on for several weeks. It adds a new dimension known as the Charred Forest.

THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR COMPLETE. MANY THINGS ARE NOT READY. (for example: recipes aren't obtainable without commands.)

Features:

• The Charred Portal. Created with basalt (in the same shape as a nether portal.) and ignited with a charred igniter. Allows you to travel to the charred forest.

• The Charred Igniter. Allows you to light the Charred Portal. Crafting recipe is in the gallery.

• Charred Wood Type. Charred Wood. Has everything normal wood has. (it breaks faster too)

• Scorched Effect. Forces the affected entity to be on fire. (can be extinguished by water or rain, fire resistance also works.)

• Charred Scrap. Can be combined with 3:00 fire resistance potions to create potions of scorching. Only generates inside the charred forest.
