Changes
Added
- Chrono Bloom: a new flower that is closed at night, opens at dawn, stays open through the day and closes at dusk. It follows the time of the dimension it is in. Bonemeal on it drops another Chrono Bloom, and it can be crafted into yellow dye. A potted version also opens and closes. Existing Time Blossoms are unchanged.
- Chrono Bloom meadow: Chrono Bloom meadows now grow in Chrono Dawn Prairies, and bonemeal on Temporal Grass there can grow them. Existing chunks are unchanged.
- Leaf particles: Time Wood and Dark Time Wood leaves shed falling leaf particles, Ancient Time Wood leaves release rising ones, and Dark Time Wood leaves let fall glowing petals at night.
- Crafting recipes for stone stairs, slabs and walls: Temporal Cobblestone, Temporal Stone, Temporal Stone Bricks, Cobbled Deepslate Temporal Stone and Polished Deepslate Temporal Stone stairs, slabs and walls can now be crafted at a crafting table like their vanilla counterparts, not only cut with a stonecutter.
- Time Well wishes: Time Wells now hold water. Drop Time Wheat, Time
Bread, a Chrono Melon Slice, Raw Temporal Amber, a Clockstone or a Time
Crystal into the water and the well glows, then exchanges one of them for a
slightly better item, with a small chance of something rarer. The rest of
the stack and anything the well does not accept rises back out, so nothing
thrown in is lost. Each player can make a wish at each well about once every
20 minutes of game time by default (
time_well_cooldown_ticksunder[gameplay.wayside]). Breaking the Time Well Stone drops Mossy Temporal Cobblestone. Only wells in newly generated chunks grant wishes.
Changed
- Chronicle stacking: the Chronicle of Chrono Dawn now stacks up to 64. A new copy is still given each time you enter Chrono Dawn without one, and the spare copies left at your base can now be stored in a single slot.
- Snowy biome coverage: narrowed the cold climate ranges used by Chrono Dawn Snowy and extended plains and forests into colder regions, reducing snowy coverage in newly generated chunks. Existing chunks keep their biomes.
Fixed
- Compatibility with overworld worldgen mods: Chrono Dawn no longer replaces the vanilla overworld noise settings. The replacement was left over from an older version of the mod and had no effect on Chrono Dawn, but it could override the surface rules of mods such as Terralith and leave their biomes covered in grass blocks. Chunks that were already generated keep their current blocks.
- Missing names: the potted Orange, Pink and Purple Time Blossoms, the Clockwork Colossus's gear projectile and the in-flight Time Arrow now have English and Japanese names. EMI, Jade and death messages showed their raw translation keys before.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
