🎰 Gamble Pokemon

Bring a full casino to your Cobblemon server! Gamble Pokemon adds a suite of gambling games where players wager their CobbleDollars at custom table blocks tended by dealer villagers — with a saturated, Stake-style casino interface, live spectating, win fireworks, and a placeable richest-players leaderboard.

Four playable games: American Roulette, a 1v1 Coin Flip duel, a multiplayer Pokemon Race, and full multiplayer Texas Hold'em Poker.

⚠️ Client + server mod. The games use custom blocks and custom screens, so it must be installed on both the server and every player's client (add it to your modpack). It is not server-only.

🎮 Games

🎡 Roulette — American (0 and 00)

A full American double-zero wheel (38 pockets) with an animated HD spin and a Crazy-Time-style flapper pointer. Pick a chip and place it on numbers, red/black, odds/evens, dozens, or columns, then hit SPIN. True American payouts — straight up 35:1, columns/dozens 2:1, even-money 1:1 — with the standard 5.26% house edge. Bet against the house.

🪙 Coin Flip — 1v1 PvP

Two players sit at the same table and put up an equal wager. Place your chips on Heads or Tails, then watch a smooth coin-toss animation decide it — the winner takes the whole pot. Pure player-vs-player, no house edge.

🏁 Cobble Race — PvP

Up to 6 players join a booth as racers and wager the same amount (equal odds). Watch a live animated race around an oval track with real lead changes and nail-biting photo finishes. The winner takes the entire pot.

♠️ Texas Hold'em Poker — Multiplayer

A fully playable, Stake-style poker table for up to 8 players. Buy in with CobbleDollars, post blinds, and play real hands: fold / check / call / raise / all-in, proper side pots, and showdown with live hand-strength readouts. Ring the table with sittable poker benches and deal your friends in.

• 🪑 Sittable poker benches — right-click to sit around the table
• 🧑‍💼 Dealer villagers spawn at each table, labeled by their game — right-click the dealer or the table to play
• 🎨 Casino-style UI — saturated Stake/Rainbet-inspired menus, bold text, glowing buttons, and custom card, chip, and felt artwork
• 🎰 Chip denominations from 1k to 1M, with a configurable max bet (default 5M)
• 🔒 Money-safe — chips are deducted when placed and refunded if you leave without playing; poker cash-outs and uncalled bets are returned correctly

⌨️ Commands

• /roulette — open the roulette table
• /gpleaderboard place — drop a live leaderboard hologram where you stand (op)
• /gpleaderboard remove — remove the nearest leaderboard hologram (op)

⚙️ Config

A config file is generated at config/gamblepokemon.json on first launch:

Set maxBet to the highest wager / bet / poker stack you want to allow per game, then restart. (The server's config is authoritative for server play.)

📦 Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric)
• Fabric API
• CobbleDollars (the currency)
• (sgui is bundled — no separate download needed)

🚀 How to play

1. Get a table from Creative → Functional Blocks (or /give), and place it — a Dealer villager appears.
2. Right-click the dealer or table to play; sneak + right-click to spectate a game in progress.
3. Place your bets or buy in, then spin / flip / race / play poker. Winnings pay out in CobbleDollars — and the fireworks fly. 🎆

📝 Notes

• Coin Flip, Cobble Race, and Poker are multiplayer PvP — grab some friends!
• Racers in the race are original creatures you can freely rename to fit your server.
• Max bet across all games is set in the config (default 5,000,000 CobbleDollars).

Requires a Cobblemon server with CobbleDollars for the full experience.
