Rustling Spots v1.0.0 (Initial Release)
First release of Rustling Spots, a Cobblemon focused mod that brings back the iconic rustling grass feature from Pokémon Black and White through fully configurable overworld event tiles.
✨ Highlights
- Implements the full Rustling Spots system with temporary event tiles that use particles, sound cues and interaction effects.
- Cobblemon only content. Spots never spawn vanilla mobs.
- Seven spot families with distinct surfaces, biomes, Pokémon pools and loot:
- Grass spots
- Sand spots
- Water spots
- Snow spots
- Leaves spots
- Cave spots
- Flying spots
- Designed for modpacks and servers with easy configuration shipping.
🌱 Core Systems And Content
- Dynamic overworld events that spawn around players based on configurable frequency, density and distance.
- Per family rules for allowed surfaces, biome routing and dimensions.
- Each spot can resolve into:
- A special Cobblemon encounter using the internal Cobblemon spawn commands.
- A loot roll with family specific rewards plus an optional global loot pool.
- Option to disable any family or turn it into rare late game content through multipliers.
- Safe for existing worlds because spots are spawned dynamically around players and do not modify world generation.
