Compound V Refabricated is an unofficial Fabric 1.20.1 port and rebalance of the original Compound V superpower mod by BlueDuck, inspired by The Boys.

Inject Compound V, get a random superpower, and fight with lasers, lightning, telekinesis and head-popping — or get stuck as a normal human.

✨ Key Features

  • 🦸 28 superpowers: each has passive effects, a primary ability and often a secondary one. Includes exclusive V1 powers: Homelander, Soldier Boy and V1 Ultimate.
  • 📊 Power HUD: shows your power, cooldowns for both abilities, heat gauge, charge progress, buff timers and the Temp V countdown, with a chime when an ability is ready.
  • ⚡ Glowing beams: hold to fire Laser Eyes with a white-hot core, glow and impact flares. Plus jagged lightning, webs, Soldier Boy's nuclear chest beam and a flamethrower.
  • 🌡️ Heat system: lasers and the flamethrower heat up while held and lock out briefly when they overheat. The crosshair ring and screen tint show how close you are.
  • 🎲 Death roulette: once the cooldown has passed, dying spins an animated roulette that picks your next power (80% superpower / 20% normal human).
  • 💉 Drugs & items: Compound V, Temp V (a power for 5 minutes), V1 (exclusive powers), Anti-V, Virus V Vial, and Virus Arrows that spread a contagious infection.
  • 💾 Saved with the world: powers, admin locks and cooldowns survive server restarts.
  • 🛡️ Server-friendly: respects the server PvP setting, team friendly fire, the mobGriefing gamerule and spawn protection. Everything is configurable.
  • 🌍 Translations: English and Russian.

🎮 Controls

  • [R] — Primary ability. Hold it for lasers, the flamethrower, telekinesis, Head Pop and Atomic Charge.
  • [G] — Secondary ability.

Both keys can be rebound under Controls → Key Binds → Compound V.

📜 Recipes

  • Virus V Vial: Compound V + Rotten Flesh + Spider Eye (shapeless)
  • Virus Arrow ×8: Virus V Vial surrounded by 8 Arrows
  • Anti-V: Compound V + Milk Bucket + Golden Apple (shapeless)

Compound V, Temp V and Anti-V can be found in Mineshaft, Dungeon, Stronghold, Nether Fortress and village Weaponsmith chests. V1 only appears in Ancient Cities and End Cities.

Settings live in config/compound_v_fabric.json: death reroll cooldown, no-power chance, block damage from powers, PvP, damage against players, loot chance, heat timings, HUD position and more.
