Connected Map Arts
Turn adjacent filled maps into one continuous picture inside your inventory. Arrange your map art yourself; the mod removes shared inner slot borders while preserving an outer frame. It never sorts, moves or modifies items.
Maps connect horizontally and vertically by item type, regardless of artwork, names or map IDs. Empty maps, gaps, other items, diagonal neighbors and row ends do not connect.
Settings
Separate switches cover single and double chests, ender chests, shulker boxes, barrels and other storage and functional menus. Player inventory and hotbar stay separate from container storage. Functional input, output, fuel and equipment slots are never bridged.
Storage and ender chests are enabled by default; player inventory is disabled by default. Unknown/custom server menus are opt-in and can be assigned a menu type locally. Expanded ender chests use the ender-chest setting when their title, interaction context or your explicit assignment identifies them.
Press K to open settings, or use /connectedmaparts. The key is configurable. Optional Mod Menu integration is included. Use the mouse wheel or arrow buttons to browse settings pages.
An independent hover option controls the normal slot highlight. Tooltips, counts, clicks, shift-clicks and drag distribution remain available.
Installation
Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API, then place the matching JAR in your client's mods folder. Install only one version. No server installation or exported artwork files are needed. Mod Menu is optional; NoRisk Client is not required.

Updating from Seamless Maps
Remove the old Seamless Maps JAR before installing Connected Map Arts, then restart Minecraft. The technical mod ID (seamlessmaps), config filename (seamless-maps.properties) and key identifier are retained to preserve existing settings. An older installation may still use F8 or your custom key until you change or reset it. Single- and double-chest settings initially inherit the old chest setting and can then be changed independently.
Compatibility and limitations
Existing resource-pack item models retain Minecraft's item-rendering path. Unmodified vanilla maps use available map data; missing data is not invented. Known issue in the currently uploaded 1.1.0 beta: connected maps can crop image content along outer motif edges. A correction has been developed for 1.1.1, but that update is not yet available here.
The mod supports tight, aligned inventory grids with standard item dimensions. Separate preview overlays, intentionally padded or transparent item models, nonstandard slot sizes and unusual modded layouts may require an integration. The creative item catalog is not a storage grid.
Server menus can be ambiguous: row count alone does not identify an ender chest, and identical titles may refer to different menus. Local per-server/title overrides are available.
Version 1.1.0 passed 14 unit tests and 4 client GameTests on each supported Minecraft version. These tests do not establish preservation of every outer motif pixel; see the known issue above. NoRisk compatibility was checked locally on 1.21.11; full NoRisk compatibility on 26.2 and a live HUGUE premium ender-chest test remain unverified. This first public release is a beta.
This is a Fabric client mod, not an official Minecraft or NoRisk product.
