Shifting attributes: mining speed, durability, armor, and damage change with the patina

Player choice: use a smithing table to lock a stage by waxing, or reverse oxidation with flint

Weather aware: oxidation accelerated by water contact

Balance: fast when bright, long life when green, with in-betweens as all-rounders
