What is Weight?
Weight is a Create: Aeronautics addon — it makes entity, inventory, and cargo placement matter on simulated contraptions.
Players, mobs, and containers standing or placed on deck add real mass to Sable's physics simulation.

Gameplay
The player has its own weight — pile up on one side and the ship heels toward you, no scripted effects, just physics.
Jumping and landing hit the deck with real force, scaled to how hard you jump or fall.
Optional Mass Sources (Disabled by default)
- Carried Inventory: Weight calculated from items in player inventories.
- Container Contents: Weight from items inside containers and storage blocks.
- Fluid Tanks: Fluid weight calculation via
#weight:tankstag (exclude blocks via#weight:ignored_containers). - Standard Armor: Armor weight dynamically derived from protection points.
- Mob Gear: Weight applied to items and armor equipped by mobs.
Configuration & Customization
All values — player mass, jump impulse strength, mob weight, and cargo scales — are fully tunable in-game!
- Expanded Config: Upgraded from 7 to 22 options, featuring independent scales for player and cargo weight.
- Modded Content Support: 3 pre-filled weight tiers mapped to common tags for instant mod compatibility.
- Hot-Reload JSONs: Tweak mass values live using
item_weights.jsonandentity_weights.json. - Commands: Live reload with
/weight reloadand inspect detailed mass data using the enriched/weight debugoutput.
