Create: Connected — Fly Port

Unofficial port of Create: Connected by Lysine to Fabric / Minecraft 26.2, built on Create Fly by ZurrTum.

This is not an official release. Lysine does not maintain it and did not publish it. Please report any problems on my repository, not theirs.

What it adds

Everything from the original mod — quality-of-life blocks for Create:

  • Cross connectors — two kinetic lines cross without touching
  • Parallel and brass gearboxes — new ways to route rotation
  • Inverted clutch and gearshift, centrifugal clutch, freewheel clutch, overstress clutch, brake
  • Shear pin — a mechanical fuse that breaks under overstress instead of stalling your factory
  • Item silo and fluid vessel — multiblock storage
  • Copycats — slabs, stairs, walls, fences, beams, boards and more, wearing any block's texture
  • Linked transmitters — levers, buttons and analog levers with a redstone link built in
  • Kinetic battery, kinetic bridge, inventory bridge, dashboard, brass chute, sequenced pulse generator, and the extended fan catalysts

Status

Tested on a singleplayer client and on a dedicated server.

Known gaps in this release:

  • The sequenced gearshift screen doesn't yet know Connected's three added instructions (TURN_AWAIT, TURN_TIME, LOOP)
  • No server→client config sync — feature toggles can disagree between sides in multiplayer
  • No in-game config screen; toggles are edited in the config file
  • Kinetic battery item renders empty at every charge level
  • Integration with Copycats+, Additional Placements, Dye Depot and Simulated is not built in this version, as those mods have no 26.2 release yet. The JEI plugin is excluded for the same reason.

PORTING.md documents the whole port, including what was left out on purpose.
