Crusher and Compressor (Fabric and NeoForge)

Almost everything is crushable. Whether it is sensible and profitable to crush some things is quite another matter. You can even crush sand, but you will get only sand, and gain some experience.

The Crusher works similar to a furnace, and has a similar recipe:

The Compressor can sometimes reverse the action of the Crusher. And sometimes it can create new things.

Before you dismiss this mod as just another boring tech mod, check the recipes. These machines are very efficient and sometimes can do almost magical things. The compressor can compress coal blocks to create diamonds, and gold to create emeralds. And even though the process is slow, and require large amounts of input materials, sometimes it is faster than mining for days on end. The crusher can recover all valuable crafting ingredients from most items, even from used tools. And converting blocks to stairs and back again sometimes create extra blocks. Almost all materials that are scarce at the beginning of the game have some ways of replication by crushing, cutting, crafting and compressing some items made of those materials. Making the crusher and compressor do seemingly meaningless tasks quickly and repeatedly, may be used to create experience faster than fighting armies of mobs.
