HitColor
Change the color entities flash when they take damage. Client-side only, works on any server.
Features
- Any hit color, with an intensity slider
- Rainbow mode with adjustable speed
- Health-based color: green → yellow → red as the target loses HP
- Separate colors for yourself and for other players (great for PvP)
- Optional tint during the death animation
- The vanilla red flash is fully replaced, so custom colors look clean
- Name tags are not tinted
- Translated: English, Русский, Українська, Deutsch
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader.
- Drop
hitcolor-x.x.x.jarinto yourmodsfolder. - (Optional) Install Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib to configure the mod in-game.
Without them the mod still works; edit config/hitcolor.json instead.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
