Cycle is a minimalistic mod aimed at making every resource in vanilla Minecraft fully renewable while blending into vanilla gameplay. Different resources are made renewable through different methods with all farming methods designed to make sense for the resources they farm as well as being balanced with vanilla.
- Bone meal can be used on sand to produce dead bushes.
- Cave spiders can produce cobwebs.
- Cobblestone and stone generators constructed in the deep dark produce cobbled deepslate and deepslate respectively.
- Lava flowing next to blue ice and above soul sand produces tuff. This is identical to a basalt generator but with soul sand instead of soul soil.
- If a guardian is struck by lightning, it turns into an elder guardian. Note that chanelling does not work underwater.
- An elder guardian killed by magic (such as a conduit) drops a heart of the sea.
- Wandering traders can now sell spore blossoms.
- Calcite can now be crafted from cobblestone and nautilus shells.
- Sand can now be produced by smelting dirt. Both furnace and blast furnace can be used.
- Sniffers can now sniff out artifacts in sand and gravel creating more suspicious sand and gravel. The type of loot you can get from brushing depends on the structure the sniffer sniffs in. Note that desert well loot is added to desert temple suspicious sand/gravel.
- Sniffers can also sniff and dig up extra treasure from various structures. These include:
- Ancient City
- Bastion Remnant
- Desert Temple
- End City
- Jungle Temple
- Nether Fortress
- Pillager Outpost
- Stronghold
- Woodland Mansion The loot that you can get is dependent on the structure the sniffer sniffs in and is based on the loot tables for the various chests found within these structures. This means that sniffers provide renewable "Snout" banner patterns (bastion), diamonds, disc fragments (ancient city), echo shards (ancient city), "Swift Sneak" enchanted books (ancient city), enchanted golden apples, gilded blackstone (bastion), horse armor, "Otherside" music disc and "Pigstep music disc (bastion). Also, end cities give sniffers a small chance of sniffing and digging up an elytra.
- Endermen have a chance to spawn with a block. When this happens, the block will NOT prevent the enderman from despawning until it places the block in the world (at which point, standard persistance rules apply). The chance of this happening is 25%, but that probability is reduced to 2% for enderman-heavy biomes (warped forest and the end). The block an enderman spawns with depends on four factors: the dimension and biome the enderman spawns in, whether or not it spawns exposed to the sky, and the y-level it spawns at.
- For endermen spawning on the surface of the overworld, expect them to hold blocks you would expect to find in the biome. Grass is very common, but you can also find in the appropriate biomes: calcite, clay, coarse dirt, gravel, ice, mossy cobblestone, mud, packed ice, podzol, red sand, sand, snow, and stone.
- Underground, depending on the y-level the enderman spawns at, you can find it spawning with: andesite, deepslate, diorite, dirt, granite, gravel, stone, tuff, and all overworld ores (both stone and deepslate variants). Note that ores are uncommon finds for endermen to spawn with, but if you are desparate, an enderman's chance of spawning with a given ore at a given y-level is roughly proportional to your chance of finding said ore at said y-level while mining.
- In the hether, you can find endermen spawning with basalt, blackstone, crimson mylium, gravel, magma block, netherrack, soul sand, soul soil warped mylium, nether gold ore, nether quartz ore, and ancient debris. Note that ancient debris requires an enderman to spawn between y-levels 8 and 24, and that range is under the lava ocean, so you will have to excavate some spawning area for an enderman to spawn with ancient debris.
- In the end, endermen only ever spawn with end stone.
- If the ender dragon is killed by a charged creeper, it will drop its head. I leave it to yu to figure out how to pull this off in survival.
