About this Mod
This mod use MCreator to adds new ores, along with associated weapons, tools, armor, a naturally generated structure, and some food items to the vanilla game. Some of the content is inspired by the history and culture of the Middle East and surrounding regions. My understanding of these cultures is very limited—most of my research was done online—so there may be simplifications and inaccuracies. Due to personal time constraints, I may not be able to promptly follow up with fixes or updates after release. I apologize in advance.
Content
- This mod uses simple block interactions for crafting, rather than relying entirely on the GUI of the crafting table.
- A type of ore called Wootziron generates underground. It can be used to upgrade your iron armor into Uzite Armor, which has stats between iron and diamond.
- Wootziron can be further smelted into Wootz Steel, historically also known as Damascus Steel. Tools forged from it have stats between diamond and netherite.
- By folding three types of steel, you can create modern Damascus Steel. This can be used to upgrade your iron tools into Damascus Tools, with stats between iron and diamond.
- Use Damascus Steel to craft a Damascus Sword, or use Wootz Steel to craft a Damascus Blade.
- In the desert, you can find unique ruins that hold items you might be interested in.

- Almost all the following texts were written by me using translation software. Please disregard the tone and attitude of the text.
- If you have JEI installed, you can look up the crafting and manufacturing methods for most items. I'll add some additional details here for a few of the crafting processes. Some items in the mod require a Blast Furnace, so please keep that in mind.
- Hausmannite has a rarity similar to diamond, so you won't find it easily. It generates at depths between -64 and -32. By comparison, Wootziron is more common.
- When you're ready to craft Wootz Steel-related items, you'll first need to make a Clay Bucket and some other items to create a Sealed Bucket. After obtaining Smelted Mixed Materials in the Blast Furnace, hold it in your hand and right-click to get Wootz Steel.
- Let's take the Wootz Pickaxe as an example. Once you've crafted an Unfinished Wootz Pickaxe, hold it, sneak, and right-click on a Smithing Table to place it on there (you can right-click again to take it off). Then, you'll need to craft a Smithing Hammer. Hold the Smithing Hammer, sneak, and right-click on the pickaxe placed on the Smithing Table. After that, right-click again to retrieve it. The same process applies to other tools.
- How do you obtain Damascus Steel? Sneak and right-click on an Anvil, then place an Iron Ingot, a Wootziron Ingot, and a Carbon Steel Ingot in order. After stacking them, right-click to take the stack off. Once it has been transformed into Redhot Stacked Steel in the Blast Furnace, you'll need to craft an Anvil Hammer. Sneak and right-click on the Anvil with the hammer a total of three times to obtain Damascus Steel. However, you can only find the Damascus Steel Upgrade Smithing Template in chests hidden inside the structures added by this mod that generate in the desert. Of course, once you have one, you can duplicate it. The chest is near the entrance—that's all the hint I'll give. By the way, that chest always contains an Arak. You can check the advancement description to learn how to use it properly.
- Finally, here's how to craft a Damascus Blade. This one is a bit more complicated. You'll need to hold at least two pieces of Redhot Wootz Steel, sneak, and right-click on an Anvil to place them on it. Then take out your Anvil Hammer. You'll end up with a Redhot Blade Piece. Hold it and right-click on a Cauldron filled with water. Next, craft a Blade Handle and combine it with the piece in a crafting table to get a Roughwrought Blade. For the last step, hold this item, sneak, and right-click on a Grindstone. Well, that's finally it.
