Difficult Progression is a small mod that makes progression in the early game considerably harder and most importantly: slower.
Features:
- Ores now drop raw ore nuggets instead of the full raw ore item, this means that you need to mine nine ores for a single ingot (in the case of diamonds: 4)!
- Bronze is a new required step between stone and iron! Stone pickaxes can no longer mine iron ore; to mine it you must make a bronze pickaxe. Bronze is made from eight copper ingots or nuggets and one tin ingot or nugget. It can also be used for armor and other tools.
- New ore: tin. Tin is about as common as iron and required, along with copper, to make bronze which is needed to progress. Tin can also be used for some smaller silly additions like tin foil (which can make a tin foil hat and more!) Getting a bronze pickaxe (required to mine iron) takes about one hour of grinding, or roughly two stacks of copper ore mined.
This mod is inspired by Progression Reborn for the Frabic launcher, but it remains different in multiple ways: Besides adding tin and bronze, Difficult Progression doesn't add upgrade templates so that upgrading to iron and beyond is harder. It also don't add any new ores besides tin or new tools/armor besides bronze.
Difficult Progression was made by me (CXF__) in collaboration with a friend, that made all the assets, who wishes to stay anonymous. This mod was made for one specific modpack (it is thus create compatible) and will not be updated to newer versions or different mod lauchers. The mod and all its assets are in the public domain.
This mod was made using MCreator.
