# Dismount Key Tired of using Sneak to dismount? Dismount Key adds a dedicated Dismount keybind, allowing you to dismount from rideable entities without using the Sneak key. **Without Dismount Key vs. With Dismount Key:** ![Without Dismount Key: Sneak dismounts you. With Dismount Key: Sneak no longer dismounts you — use the dedicated Dismount key instead.](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/691120ce3aec040b17a4b41bd0f1b0d0ce1db446.jpeg) This also makes Sneak available for its normal uses while riding, without accidentally dismounting. ## Dismount Belt The optional Dismount Belt gives you even more control over when you can dismount. **Keybinds in the Controls Menu:** ![Shows the Dismount and Dismount Belt keybinds in the Minecraft Controls menu.](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/4e09b88a5a3dfc6f19049b402a11fd5755aa8d05.png) ### Normal Mode Press the Dismount Belt key to fasten or unfasten the belt. When the belt is fastened, the Dismount key will not dismount you until you unfasten it. You can also enable Auto Belt on Mount to automatically fasten the belt whenever you mount an entity. ### Two-Key Mode Want dismounting to require a deliberate action? In Two-Key Mode, you must hold both the Dismount Belt and Dismount keys at the same time to dismount. The Dismount Belt can be completely disabled if you only want the main Dismount key. ## Features - Dedicated Dismount keybind - Optional Dismount Belt - Normal and Two-Key modes - Optional automatic belt when mounting - Configurable messages - Works with vanilla and modded rideable entities - Fully configurable keybinds ## Configuration Dismount Key includes a client-side configuration file that lets you customize the mod.
