⚡ DOOM BLOCK 1.1.2 — CLEANUP + OPTIMIZATION + NEW STUFF! 😎
Size: ~436 KB 💾
Platform: NeoForge 1.21.1 🎮
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Before this version, do not step on the Pink Doom Block! Earlier it spawned TNT every tick — this heavily loaded the server and could cause lags or crashes. Now it’s fully fixed! 🚀
🧱 WHAT’S NEW:
✅ Two new blocks — Raining and Snowing Doom Block! 🌧️❄️
Step on it — and rain or snow starts strictly within that single block. Break it without Silk Touch — you place a Water or a drop Snow Block as a drop. Want the Doom Block itself? You’ll need Silk Touch — it’s rare and valuable!
✅ Cleanup and code optimization! 🚀📉
Removed redundant procedures, merged logic — the mod is lighter, more stable, and puts less strain on the game.
✅ Smarter and FPS‑friendly! 🧠⚡
- Yellow Doom Block: Lightning now spawns every 10 ticks — dramatic effect without extra load.
- Pink Doom Block: TNT now spawns once per second (every 20 ticks), not every tick — no more lags or crashes.
🧪 TESTED & VERIFIED:
✅ Works stably even with many blocks placed in the world. 🖥️
✅ Drops and Silk Touch mechanics work exactly as intended. 🛠️
✅ Particle sync between server and client is confirmed — effects show up instantly for everyone. ✨
📝 FROM THE DEVELOPER (MisterCosmos):
“This update was a real grind: I spent 5 whole hours fine‑tuning the server–client synchronization, making sure particles fly smoothly and without lags. I also cleaned up a lot of legacy code and fixed critical performance issues — especially with the Pink Doom Block. Now the mod runs clean and stable, and the new blocks deliver exactly the mechanics I wanted. More cool stuff is coming soon!” 😎🔥
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
