Datapack Utils - DPU

The mod requires a rewrite, and I want to port it to the most recent version. No need to modify it if Minecraft is still in its snapshot phase

A mod which aims to improve the way datapack creation works, add functions for common events, and improves the way models are loaded in a Resource Pack.

This mod mainly changes the way models are loaded and rendered, as well as adds events to some things that happen in a Minecraft world.

Mod features:

• Ability to modify pages of a Written Book to display a custom background.
• Adds the ability to override models depending on where it is being rendered (GUI, ground, hand, etc)
• Adds various events which can be used in datapacks
• Adds per-tick information on any event sent

  • Per-tick event information, viewable and usable by the /data command
  • Events for various player interactions

Library features:

• Adds the ability to register events that will be available to datapacks to use
• Adds a boolean model override, which can be used on items
