You can heal every undead horses (uncluding vanilla undead horses) with some wheat ! (example in media)

Now if you manage to get a zombie horse by rehydrating a husk horse it will be rideable !

In the aim of making minecraft vanilla better I'm doing some mods and resource packs with vanilla-like content.

Drowned & Dried introduce a new way to make horses (from the mod) wearing a saddle.

-By right clicking + pressing shift you can put or get back your saddle.

-By clicking on a horse with a saddle it will give it the saddle because it is already a vanilla feature

This mod adds 6 horses variant yet and they all have their own uses :

-The husk horse can spit at its target when and his spit provides hunger. You can ride it, by pressing F key also use its spit attack on whatever creatures you're aiming. By using a water bucket on this horse you can get a rideable zombie horse in survival !

-The drowned horse can't be ridden but will provide some effects which might be useful under water. By leashing it you can literally live under water !

-The stray skeleton horse does a trail of slowing smoke while being ridden which can be extremely useful against mobs like zombies and wither skeletons but not as useful against skeletons.

-The wither skeleton horse is basically hostile toward players. He does many damages and applies a new amplified wither effect which does 2.5 hearts of damages whatever armors you wear. You can tame it by using a red fungus and it will protect you from mobs that attacks you/you attacked.

-The bogged skeleton horse will avoid players by running from them. You'll need to kill some of them first to get a mushroom parasite, also it will provide nausea and poison to its attacker. By using the mushroom in a crafting grid with an apple you'll get an infected apple which will allow you to tame an ride this one. Unlike the basic skeleton horse it will drown under water but it takes no falling damages due to its mushrooms, and also saves you from those damages. (1.21.1 only)

-The sculk horse is the only undead horse that won't spawn naturally. To obtain a sculk horse you have to feed a skeleton horse with some sculk veins. By pressing F key you'll be able to summon 3 minions ! Each minions have a lifetime of 2 minutes and you can summon them every 1:15 minutes.
