Duel Mod
Ever wanted to settle things with a friend without wrecking your world or actually dying? Duel Mod lets you challenge any player to a 1v1 fight right where you're standing — no arena to build, no risk of losing your stuff, no permanent damage to the map.
How it works
Send a challenge with /challenge <player> <kit>, they accept, a 3-2-1 countdown kicks in, and you fight. Land the killing blow and the duel ends instantly — your opponent doesn't actually die. Both players get everything back exactly as it was: inventory, health, hunger, XP, potion effects, even their gamemode if they were in creative.
Any blocks placed during the fight clean themselves up afterward, and duelists can't touch blocks that were already there. Bystanders can't get pulled into the fight either — damage is isolated to the two duelists unless you turn that off.
Kits
/kit create <name> opens a full kit editor with a built-in item browser — every item in the game is one shift-click away, and armor pieces automatically land in the right slot. Build a kit once, duel with it forever. Kits belong to whoever made them (editing is admin-only by default, but that's configurable), and /kit list shows everyone what's available.
What it does?
- Zero setup — works anywhere, no arena plugin or world edit needed
- Nothing is ever truly lost — deaths, items, and terrain all get restored
- Winner gets fireworks and a server-wide shoutout (can be turned off if you'd rather keep it low-key)
- Everything is configurable through
config/duelmod/config.json— invite timeout, countdown length, damage isolation, broadcasts, kit permissions
Requirements
- Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric API (required dependency)
- Server-side only — clients don't need the mod installed
