EasierMobCloning is a purely client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 designed to make saving and duplicating mobs effortless in Creative Mode.

By using Ctrl + Pick Block, the mod queries the server for the target mob's full binary NBT data and builds a custom Spawn Egg containing all entity properties—including Villager trade offers, trade levels, equipment, health, and custom names.

  • 📦 Data Components: Fully updated for Minecraft 1.21.11's minecraft:entity_data Data Component architecture.
  • ⚡ Native Query System: Uses Minecraft's official DataQueryHandler for instant binary NBT network fetches.
  • 🛡️ Conflict-Free: Automatically strips positional (Pos, Motion) and unique ID (UUID) data on clone so spawned entities don't interfere with each other.
  • 🔌 Client-Side Only: No mod installation required on the server (requires OP/Creative permissions).

🎮 How to Use

  1. Switch to Creative Mode (/gamemode creative).
  2. Aim at any entity (Villager, Zombie, Horse, etc.).
  3. Hold Ctrl and Middle-Click (Pick Block).
  4. The Spawn Egg will land directly in your active hotbar slot ready to be placed!
