Overview
Ebic's Tiers introduces gear tiers/rarities as well as attributes, giving each tool unique properties and values! Get lucky and refine your equipment to push your tool's (and your own) potential to the limit.
Rarities
Ebic's Tiers introduces new 6 rarities for equipment, each one being stronger than the last. Any looted or (*most) crafted equipment will have a random rarity assigned to it.
All rarities can provide the same attribute bonuses, but the bonuses themselves will be stronger overall depending on the tier. The tiers are as followed:
-
Common (White) | (50%)
- Common-tier equipment will never have special modifiers or attributes, they're strictly vanilla. Additionally, mixing two different pieces of equipment (such as combining two iron swords in a crafting grid or anvil) will always yield a common.
-
Uncommon (Green) | (25%) | (1 Attribute Slot)
-
Rare (Blue) | (15%) | (1 Attribute Slot)
-
Epic (Purple) | (7%) | (2 Attribute Slots)
-
Legendary (Gold) | (2.5%) (3 Attribute Slots)
-
Mythical (Red) | (0.5%) (4 Attribute Slots)

Here's what tiered equipment looks like in the hotbar!
Attributes
Attributes are the statistical changes to your equipment, with the amount and strength of attributes entirely determined by your tool's rarity. Some attributes are exclusive to certain types of tools, such as the Armor Points attribute being exclusive to armor, and Mining Efficiency being exclusive to tools.
Here's a Mythical Diamond Pickaxe with the maximum amount of possible attributes!

Rerolling
There may be instances where you want to keep a tool while rerolling the rarity, and Ebic's Tier has a solution for this: the Reroll Template. They can be found in abandoned mineshafts, desert pyramids, jungle temples, and village tool/blacksmith huts. By placing the Reroll Template, the tool you wish to reroll and an amethyst shard, you can reroll your tool's rarity and attributes!

Configuration
Ebic's Tiers is built to be highly configurable and easily-tailored to any situation, customizable entirely from the in-game mod list if you have Cloth Config API and Mod Menu installed! You can adjust:
- Rarity Colors
- Rarity Odds
- Attribute Strength Per-Tier
- Enabled/Disabled Attributes
More customizing may come in the future! But it's very versatile already.
Usage
Ebic's Tiers is free to be used in any modpacks or videos you'd like! That being said, please provide credit, and do not modify the mod's source code beyond the provided configuration options. Thank you very much!
