New Ores!
LOTS of new ores with various uses. Some are simply for tool and armor progression, others have more specialized uses.
New Weapons, Tools, and Armor!
MANY of the new ores have a full set of armor, tools, and a sword.
Charges!
A new item category called charges, these are variants of the fire charge that can do various effects depending on which ore you use. There are even some for various vanilla ores. (Hint, the Topaz Charge is basically a lucky block!)
Synthetic Gems!
The new machine, the Crystallization Furnace, can be used to create synthetic gems, which are man-made ores that have more specialized, but still important uses.
New Biomes!
Throughout the world, you will find various new biomes to explore, and they each come with their own benefits, but some of them are not so friendly...
The Curse...
Be careful out there. There are a lot of cursed locations that are not very welcoming, including this biome, the Land of the Curse...
New Structures!
You will find many new structures to explore as you navigate through your world, and they can be a great help, but often do not come for free...
The Legendary Staves!
Throughout the world, there is a structure that contains a Staff Pedestal. Using the instructions provided in the structure, you can create a Staff, the most revered and legendary weapons out there...
Base?
Another structure you may come across is one of the many "Base" structures. Nobody really knows who uses these as bases, but they contain the best loot of any structures, but often require the most preparation.
Treasures to Be Found...
Some structures have hidden treasures within, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled... and maybe don't die in the process
Radioactive Ores?!
A few ores you may come across are radioactive (Don't worry, you are unaffected, at least for now!), and these can be used for some, lets just say, destructive purposes...
