Ender crops growing in darkness

Ender crops must be grown in a light level below 7 when planted on regular farmland. That corresponds to the emission of a lit redstone torch.

Ender crop planted on tilled end stone

End stone can be tilled with any hoe with an Unbreaking enchantment. Ender crops planted on it will grow at the same speed as vanilla wheat. Beware: upon harvesting you may invite unwanted guests from the end dimension!
