Epic Fight Utilities
Overview:
Epic Fight Utilities is a simple extension for the Epic Fight mod, designed to expand its capabilities through the use of custom animations and compatibility with addons from previous versions (currently limited; see the allowed list below). This mod adds classes, categories, and innate abilities based on the installed addons, along with a list of free slots for optional use.
Important: This mod does not include any external assets within itself. All assets are stored in a dynamic resource pack. Therefore, animations are loaded only if the user desires them, and the responsibility lies entirely with the user. This mod merely facilitates reading if an appropriate file exists.
Usage:
A folder named epicfight.addons will be generated inside your mods folder (or you can create it manually). Place compatible addons into this folder if you wish to use them.
Compatibility with Old Addons:
Enables the use of animations from addons of previous Epic Fight versions. Extends the default classes and categories of the base mod to use these animations, including additional free slots.
Pre-configured addons include:

Weapons Slots:
List of the already named "Slots": "Sword Slot", "Spear Slot", "Greatsword Slot", "Tachi Slot", "Special Slot", "Dagger Slot", "Longsword Slot".
Despite the names you can place any weapon in these slots, they are simply there so as not to interfere with the existing categories.
Commands:
/epicfight utilities
-
clear: Deletes temporary files or specific folders.
- clear cache: Removes the cache to resolve potential data conflicts.
- clear resourcepack: Deletes the dynamically generated resource folder.
- clear both: Performs both actions simultaneously.
-
addons: Manages the addons loaded in the mod.
- addons list: Displays a detailed list of loaded, known, detected, invalid and disabled addons.
- addons rebuild: Deletes all dynamic data and restarts the build processes. (Use this if you've added an addon and don't want to restart the game, but the resource load has failed.)
- addons build: Restarts processes without deleting existing data. (Use this if you've added an addon and don't want to restart the game.)
Dynamic Resource Pack Generation:
The mod creates a dynamic resource pack where all the necessary animations are stored, these animations are used for movesets and innate abilities, therefore you must activate the resource pack for the mod to work.
Recommended Usage:
This mod does not add any useful content for a common user. It is intended for users interested in adding animations for creating mod packs, adding weapon compatibility data packs, or for any purpose that requires these animations (e.g. creating custom boss fights).
Additional Notes:
- There are known issues with hitboxes for innate abilities.
- Some animations are unused or incorrectly configured due to missing "data/*.json" files, which can cause "flickering" or slight bugs. You are welcome to experiment with creating these missing files to resolve such issues.
- Some innate abilities are incomplete, keep that in mind.
- The "epicfight.addons" folder should work fine in most cases, if you install files that share the same "modid" address the game will warn you by preventing them from loading, if you install .jar or .zip files that don't contain animations they will simply be ignored and if you install files that are valid but may cause problems these same files should be automatically disabled.
