IOU Escrow: A Vanilla-Friendly Schematic/Survival Autobuilder Solution

Love designing in Creative Mode but tired of manually placing all the blocks in your surival world? IOUEscrow is a vanilla-friendly schematic builder and survival autobuilder mod allows creative planning with encouraging resource-driven gameplay.

Copy your builds, save them as local schematics, project them into your survival world, and let the mod build them for you, as long as you provide the materials! (Autobuild can be configured off for visual build guides instead!)

Using the IOU Wand, you capture your designs effortlessly. When it is time to build, the EscrowBox acts as your site manager. It requires the actual materials needed for the structure. Simply deposit the requested blocks, and the autobuilder gets to work, placing every block exactly where it belongs. (Use IOU Building Tool for adjusting your schematic)

This mod is highly recommended for players who enjoy planning grand designs in Creative Mode but still want their Survival progression to require real gathering, preparation, and honest work.

How It Works

Getting started with your first automated construction project is simple:

1. Design & Select: Enter Creative Mode and use the IOU Wand to select two corners of your finished structure.
2. Save the Blueprint: Save the selected area as a schematic file.
3. Place the EscrowBox: Jump into Survival Mode and place the EscrowBox at your desired construction site.
4. Position the Build: Select your saved schematic, preview the hologram, and adjust its rotation and placement.
5. Fund the Project: Deposit the required building materials into the EscrowBox.
6. Automate Construction: Start the build and watch the EscrowBox assemble your structure piece by piece.
