anyminer
Fabric mod that chains the connected vein, tree, or ripe patch in waves when vanilla would break one block at a time, so drops and experience orbs stay vanilla. One breaking style covers ores, trees of any trunk shape with replanting, and ripe patches that clear and replant while green crops stay planted, plus a flat tunnel mode, a preview before breaking, and a menu for chain size, durability reserve, pickup boost, claim guard, and the searchable block list.
Requirements
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader.
- Drop Fabric API and this jar into the
modsfolder. - Launch the game. For settings, press
O.
mods/exotherm-but-veinminer-1.13.1.jar
Compatibility
- Runs on Fabric, on client and server, in single-player and on dedicated servers. The server chains the blocks, the client adds the outline, screens, and keys.
- Claim guard covers vanilla spawn protection only, not third-party claim mods.
- Adds no blocks, items, or world data. Settings live in
config/exotherm/exothermbutveinminer.json, so existing saves load as before.
FAQ
Can vein and tunnel run together?
One mode runs at a time. Left Alt switches modes and O opens the active menu.
Does it need the client mod? The server chains blocks for vanilla clients. The client adds the outline, screens, and keys.
Will it break my tools? Chains stop before tools break, Unbreaking stretches the reserve, and blocks fall in waves so one vein can't take the whole bar.
Do Fortune and Silk Touch apply? Yes. Every block breaks through the vanilla call, so enchantments and drops behave as if mined by hand. Swapping tools mid chain stops the wave.
Is it safe to add to an existing world? Yes. It adds no blocks, items, or world data, so existing saves load as before.
Settings at a glance
One trigger runs both modes: Off, Sneak-only, or No-sneak, default No-sneak. Left Alt switches vein and tunnel, O opens the active one. Vein size scales 50% to 200%.
