Eymistaken's Shield Rounder
I developed Shield Rounder to solve a specific problem I frequently encountered in Minecraft PvP: understanding the exact protective area of a shield. While the vanilla game provides visual feedback that a shield is raised, the actual blocking angle and hitbox can be difficult to gauge during fast-paced combat.
This client-side mod visualizes the precise protective hemisphere of an actively raised shield. When a shield is in use, the mod dynamically draws translucent, light-blue guide lines to outline the exact area that will successfully block incoming attacks.
I originally designed this with mace combat in mind—where predicting impact and maintaining precise positioning are critical—but it proves highly useful for any general combat scenario where you need to know exactly where a shield's protection begins and ends.

Features & Configuration
Since this is a purely client-side addition, you can safely use it on multiplayer servers without requiring the server to have it installed.
I have also integrated full ModMenu support. Through the configuration screen, you can easily toggle the mod on or off entirely, and choose whether the visualization lines should be rendered on your own character or only on other players around you.
