FableMod MAJOR UPDATE 6.0.0 for Minecraft 26.3 - Wilderness Bound
Updated to Minecraft 26.3.X
⚔ New: Nausea Weapons
- New item: Nausea Essence.
- Can be crafted with potent sulfur

- Can be crafted with potent sulfur
- Nausea swords and spears in Diamond, Citrin, Nether and Titan, made with the essence and a Fabulous Template at the smithing table.
- New: Nausea Arrows
- Faster screen effect: Fading the nausea in and out now takes at most 20% of the effect's duration in total. For 10 seconds of Nausea that's about 2 seconds, instead of 7.5 seconds just for fading in.
✨ New Enchantments
At the enchanting table
- Ricochet (bows, levels I–III)
- After a hit, the arrow bounces off and homes in on a nearby target.
- Each level allows one more ricochet. Each ricochet deals 15% less damage.
- The next target must be in line of sight and within 16 blocks. Mobs of the same type come first, then hostile mobs, then everything else.
- Chain Reaction (crossbows, levels I–II)
- When a projectile hits a creature, it fires 4 (I) or 6 (II) copies around the creature it hit. If there are targets nearby, the copies aim at them.
- The copies can trigger again 2 (I) or 3 (II) more times. Each generation flies slower.
- Works with arrows, firework rockets, and splash and lingering potions.
- One shot creates at most 50 projectiles. The copies can't be picked up.
- Arrow copies only trigger when they actually deal damage, so not on a shield block.
- Reflection (shields, levels I–III)
- A fully blocked arrow is shot back and homes in on its shooter. This works if the shooter is within 16 / 24 / 32 blocks.
- A reflected arrow deals 15% less damage. Each arrow can only be reflected once.
At the Orkus Altar (new spear pair)
Netherite and Nether spears now have their own enchantment pair at the Orkus Altar. Before, they got the sword enchantments.

- Rush (levels I–III)
- Each level lets you hold the spear in attack position 25% longer.
- After 2 seconds in attack position you move 25% faster, but you get hungry much quicker.

- Curse of Weariness (levels I–III)
- Each level lets you hold the spear in attack position 20% shorter.
- Life Stealer and Curse of Death Stealer are now swords only. Penetration and Curse of Bluntness are now swords and axes only. Spears no longer get them.
🔥 Twilight Crucible Rework
The Crucible no longer makes golden apples out of nothing. It now needs Health Remnants:
- You get Health Remnants by eating golden apples. They stack to 99.
- Golden Apple → 1 Remnant
- Diamond Apple → 2 Remnants
- Golden Head → 3 Remnants
- Enchanted Golden Apple → 4 Remnants
- 3 Remnants = 1 Golden Apple.
- Internal storage: The Crucible slowly draws remnants from the remnant slot into its own storage (up to 120). That means up to 40 golden apples per ritual.
- It only draws as many as the armor allows. The rest stays in the slot.
- If you take armor out, extra remnants are returned.
- You can refill during a ritual.
- Breaking the Crucible drops the stored remnants.
- As before, you need a player head and a full armor set. Each ritual uses up one head.
- Armor now only sets the maximum number of golden apples per ritual (up to 40). Full Netherite with Protection IV gives 40. Material and Protection level both count. Iron, gold, leather and chainmail count for nothing. Nightmare armor now counts a bit more than before.
- New interface:
- A colored bar shows how many golden apples the ritual will make and where the armor limit is.
- The tooltip on the bar shows the stored remnants, what's missing (head, armor piece, remnants), whether you need better armor, and how many remnants will be left over.
- Empty slots now show placeholder icons.

- Ambience: a new sound plays when a ritual finishes, plus soul/sculk particles and ambient sounds.
- Player heads no longer decay into zombie heads. The
player_head_decay_timegamerule was removed.
⚖ Balancing
- Purity now shortens negative effects by 15% instead of 10% per level.
- Nether weapons deal 0.25 more damage (Nether Sword: 6.5 → 6.75).
- Nightmare Fuel no longer needs a Netherite Ingot (now 2× Titan Ingot instead) and makes 3 instead of 2.

- Enchantability (better or worse enchantments at the table):
- Nightmare armor: 12 → 25
- Nightmare tools and weapons: 16 → 26
- Netherite Shield: 12 → 18
- Vanilla Shield: 10 → 6
- The extra diamond ore generation was removed, so diamonds are back to vanilla amounts.
- Citrin Stars now stack to 8 instead of 4.
- Locked graphics settings adjusted: Darkness Pulsing is now locked at 50% (was 0%), Distortion Effects at 85% (was 100%).
🩹 Bug Fixes
- Wither Skeletons drop exactly one Wither Bone per kill again. Before, there was only about a ⅓ chance.
- Thinness permanently raised your base speed, and that was saved with the player. This is fixed, and affected players are reset automatically.
- Orkus Altar: XP now stays in the Soul Orb until the ritual starts. Taking the orb out early no longer loses any XP.
- Breaking the Orkus Altar during a ritual drops the bound XP as experience orbs.
- Running orkus altar and twilight crucible rituals no longer get lost when the server restarts.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
