Lantern has dropped some empties
Glass Bottles persist when dropped. This shows at least 9 days have passed since Oil lasts 3 days in a Lantern.

A copper kettle (new item) is placed on top of a campfire, heating the contents of the kettle. The Animal Fat (new item, drop from some animals) is rendered into Oil (new item). Also seen is a Bronze Lantern (new item).
Lantern Storage
All Lanterns now require fuel to light up. They have one slot that can accept up to 16 items. Glass Bottles drop when their contents are used up, and the glass bottles persist.

Firebugs rejoice!
When you place a regular torch on something flammable, it will ignite quickly. Trees (and other things) will burn up.

When Composters eject Bone Meal they also drop a unit of Oil which can be collected in Cauldrons and Copper Kettles (new block).
