A hunting, carcass & butchering overhaul for Minecraft.
Flaying replaces standard instant mob drops with physical carcasses that you need to butcher to get items and meat.
Features
- Carcasses: Mobs leave behind 3D bodies when killed instead of immediately popping into item drops.
- Butchering: Right-click a carcass with a sword or blade to butcher it. Required hits scale with the mob's size and health.
- Enchantment Support:
- Looting
- Fire Aspect
- Tag Support: Full support for item and entity type tag groups (e.g.
#c:bosses,#minecraft:undead,#minecraft:swords). - Decay: Carcasses rot and disappear after 5 minutes (configurable).
- Sound effects, blood particles, and swing cooldowns during butchering.

Compatibility
- Butchery
