Flint Skip
Skip flint across water with a timing-based throw, realistic ripples, and up to 20 skips.
Skip adds a small, satisfying stone-skipping mechanic to Minecraft.
How to Play
- Hold Flint in your main hand.
- Hold right-click to start the timing meter.
- Release near the green center for a stronger throw.
- Aim slightly downward toward open water.
- Good timing and a shallow angle produce more skips.
A near-perfect throw can reach a maximum of 20 skips.
Features
- Skill-based timing meter
- Throw quality affected by both timing and aim
- Horizontally spinning Flint projectile
- Expanding water-surface ripples
- Splash sounds and particles for every skip
- Larger final splash and bubble trail
- Flint can be recovered after it sinks
- Ice sliding and lava destruction
- No damage to players or mobs
- Multiplayer and dedicated-server support
- No scores, records, commands, or extra items
Flint Recovery
In Survival and Adventure, each throw consumes one Flint.
After the throw ends, the Flint normally becomes a dropped item where it lands or sinks, allowing you to retrieve it. Flint thrown into lava is permanently destroyed.
Creative-mode throws do not consume or drop Flint.
