Floral Tonics And Tinctures 2.1.0 - Forge/NeoForge 1.20.1
by tonyandthetrashelementals on Nov 2, 2025"Florals? In my tonics and tintures?"
--- Added four new flowers to the overworld, which can be brewed into new tonics.
- Fire Lily - Can be brewed into a Fiery tonic. Found in savannas and sparse jungles.
- Heather - Can be brewed into a Frosty tonic. Found in cold biomes.
- Milkweed - Can be brewed into a Purifying tonic (replacing Sponge in the old recipe). Can be found in Swamps.
- Moly - Can be brewed into a tonic of Magic Resistance. Found rarely in high-altitude biomes like hills and mountains.
All the new overworld flowers can additionally be found in Flower Forests.
- Also added a new grass-like block known as the Clover Patch, which spawns frequently in plains, hills, and forests. Like grass, it can be harvested with shears. Occasionally when breaking it, you can find a Four-Leaf Clover, which can be brewed into a potion of luck. Can be brewed into a Wayfaring tonic.
--- Added two new flowers to the Nether, which can be brewed into new tonics.
- Midas' Fingers - Can be brewed into a tonic of Gold Rush. Found in Crimson and Warped Forests, and is protected by piglins due to it being able to be crafted into a gold nugget.
- Lavadrop - Can be brewed into a tonic of Volatility. Found in Nether Wastes and seldomly in Basalt Deltas. Gives off a respectable amount of light, which increases when potted.
--- Added one new flower to the End, which can be brewed into a new tonic.
- Stella - Can be brewed into a tonic of Resistance. Found everywhere in the End. Gives off a respectable amount of light, which increases when potted.
--- Added Seven New Mob Effects, all of which are obtainable by crafting a tonic.
- Fiery - Causes you to ignite your enemies and slowly smelt items that you hold in your hands (tools and armor are protected).
- Frosty - Causes you to freeze your enemies, and gives you an innate Frost Walker effect.
- Floral Scent - Pacifies mobs and prevents them from targeting or being targeted by other mobs. Is removed upon dealing or taking damage. Works on the player to allow them to escape a hostile situation.
- Gold Rush - Empowers gold equipment and tools by slowing their durability loss, increasing the damage they deal and protection they offer, and imbuing them with luck.
- Magic Resistance - Makes you immune to magical damage types, and dispels certain magical entites that come into contact with you. (This is managed by a tag and by default only affects Vexes and Allays).
- Volatility - Causes the affected entity to explode when the effect expires, dealing a sizeable amount of damage to itself and anything in the blast zone.
- Wayfaring - Causes the affected entity to leave behind a trail of luminous golden leaves, which glow in the dark and can be used to mark your trail as you explore. The leaves will last for thirty seconds, slowly wilting before fading out of existence.
--- Added new compat recipes for tonics using effects from:
- Botania
- Hexalia
- Warriors Of Past Epoch

Floral Tonics And Tinctures 2.0.0 (Forge/NeoForge 1.20.1)
by tonyandthetrashelementals on Oct 15, 2025Kept you waiting, huh?
Floral Tonics & Tinctures is no longer MCreator, it has been fully remade in java for 1.20.1 (1.21 maybe eventually?).
--- Tweaks and Updates
- Tonics and tinctures have a fresh new look!
- Tonics and tinctures have been overhauled on the coding end, and now a tonic or tincture for any mob effect can theorhetically be crafted, so long as there is a recipe for it. A quick tutorial on making tonic recipes via json will be added to the wiki for this mod. Any tonic that has a recipe added for it should automatically show up in the creative mode menu. There will be a short guide on the wiki letting you know how to add recipes via datapack.
- Corrected the recipe for the night vision tonic to use Poppy rather than Dandelion, matching the suspicious stew.
- Added another icon to the Herbalism Table GUI that will make it clearer which slot to place the ingredient in.
- The Purifying effect will now cleanse any negative effects that an affected creature has or receives. When interacting with mobs, it will now only remove negative effects if you interact with one of your tamed pets.
- The Prickly effect's backlash damage now scales with its level.
- The Floral Gift enchantment will no longer drop items if the Do Mob Loot gamerule is false, and can drop any item from the Herbalism Ingredients tag (which was previously dependant on level, with level now only increasing the drop chance.)
- The Alchemized enchantment has a larger list of effects it can choose from, and its base activation chance has been increased.
- The Herbalism Kit is no longer so strict about where exactly you're allowed to place tonics vs ingredients and additives. You can now place any item allowed to be kept in the kit in any of its storage slots.
- Tonics from other mods can now be used to craft their corresponding tipped arrow if one exists.
- New tonic recipes for the following mods:   - [Let's Do] Brewery - Pacify, Explosions, Combustion, Protective Touch, Party Starter, Renewing Touch   - Alex's Caves - Sugar Rush   - Born In Chaos - Ice Barrier, Stimulation   - Ars Nouveau - Blasting, Shielding, Freezing, Recovery   - [Let's Do] Herbal Brews - Bonding, Lifeleech, Tough, Feral
--- Config The following config options have been added to the mod:
- Max stack size: Allows you to control the max stack size of tonics. Defaults to 3.
- Fast use: Controls whether tonics should be consumed quickly, like sweet berries. Defaults to false.
- Reduced duration: Controls whether tonics have a reduced duration compared to their corresponding potion. Defaults to true.
Added a version for 1.20.4 Neoforge.
