🦊 Fox's Weapons — Alpha 13
Version: 0.13.0-alpha.1
☠️ New Weapon: Poisoned Needle (Tier 2)
The 13th weapon has arrived! A small, throwable needle coated in a deadly purple toxin. It may look harmless, but its victims will strongly disagree.
⚔️ Weapon Mechanics
- Direct Damage: 6 HP (3 hearts) on impact.
- Toxin: Deals 2 HP (1 heart) every 5 ticks (0.25 seconds).
- Permanent Toxin: The effect lasts indefinitely until removed, such as by drinking milk.
- Lethal Poisoning: Unlike vanilla Poison, Toxin can kill its victims and works against undead enemies.
- Piercing: Needles can pass through multiple targets in a single throw.
- No Cooldown: Throw needles as quickly as you can click.
- Projectile Speed: Uses full vanilla bow launch speed.
🎯 Projectile Features
- Custom 3D GeckoLib model and projectile renderer.
- Needles become embedded in blocks at their impact angle.
- Embedded needles can be recovered by players.
- Needles drop as items if their supporting block is destroyed.
- Embedded projectile states are saved and restored.
🧪 New Status Effect: Toxin
Introduces a purple, damage-over-time status effect that continues damaging affected entities until removed or the target dies.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
