Fox's Weapons — Alpha 14: Ender Staff
Version: 0.14.0-alpha.1
Minecraft: 26.2
Loader: NeoForge
New Weapon #14 — Ender Staff
The Ender Rapier has officially been replaced by the Ender Staff.
The original idea was a fancy End-themed rapier.
The final result is a wooden stick with a green cube on top.
The cube judges you.
And somehow, it can bend space-time.
New Features
- Added the Ender Staff, a Tier 3 teleportation weapon.
- Right-click to teleport up to 5 blocks in the direction you're looking.
- Full 3D teleportation: forward, backward-facing, upward, downward, and diagonal movement based on aim.
- Can teleport through thin, one-block-thick walls.
- Stops safely before walls that are too thick to pass.
- Uses collision detection to avoid teleporting inside solid blocks.
- Tall grass and non-colliding plants do not obstruct teleportation.
- Ender portal particles appear during teleportation.
- Enderman teleportation sound effects.
- Custom Blockbench 3D model and texture using GeckoLib.
- Rare item rarity.
- No projectile entity required.
- No denial messages when a teleport cannot be completed.
- No eye animation.
The Judgmental Green Eye
The eye does not blink.
The eye does not rotate.
The eye does not float.
The eye judges.
Development Notes
- Implemented safe teleport destination detection.
- Added collision checks for thin and thick obstacles.
- Added vertical teleportation after an earlier implementation restricted movement to the horizontal plane.
- Fixed Minecraft 26.2 compilation compatibility.
- Verified that the mod builds successfully.
- Teleportation functionality tested in-game.
Arsenal Progress
14 out of 15 weapons implemented!
Only the Smoke Bomb remains before all 15 planned base weapons are implemented.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- NeoForge 26.2.0.86
- Java 25
- GeckoLib 5.5.6 or newer, below 6.0
FOX'S WEAPONS — ALPHA 14
One wooden stick. One green cube. Five blocks of questionable space-time manipulation.
The judgment continues.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
