Functional Slabs

Functional Slabs does pretty much what the name says: it adds slab versions of useful vanilla blocks while keeping their original behavior.

They craft like regular slabs and can also be made with a stonecutter.

Some things you can do with them:

• Hide Redstone Lamps or Copper Bulbs inside slab floors and ceilings.
• Make more compact slime and honey contraptions.
• Use Redstone Slabs for precise wiring—they only power blocks they actually touch.
• Build half-height ice paths that are still slippery.
• Use waterlogged Soul Sand and Magma Slabs with bubble columns.
• Add Obsidian Slabs wherever you need something blast-resistant.

The mod currently includes slabs for ice, packed ice, blue ice, redstone, honey, slime, obsidian, redstone lamps, copper bulbs, soul sand, and magma blocks.
