Sorcery Age is a brand new Jujutsu Kaisen mod that immerses you in the world of sorcerers and curses. There are many abilities to discover and countless fights to win!
Dependencies: GeckoLib 4.4.2+ & Curios API 5.4.5+ 1.20.1 Forge
Getting Started
When entering a world in Sorcery Age, you will possibly be born a Curse or a Sorcerer with a Cursed Technique, Cursed Energy Nature, or Trait. You will start off with some abilities, including new fist fighting capabilities. You can unleash a chargeable Punch, a pressuring and quick Barrage, or setup for a combo with a long ranged Slam. Dash alongside these attacks in order to unleash Lunge Attacks! These special attacks have more range than normal attacks, but be wary as they may leave you open to a counterattack. Combine these melee moves with your abilities in order to dominate fights!
Sorcerers and Curses
Born from negative energy, curses invade the world of Minecraft. New Shrine structures can be found around the world, adorned with cursed objects lying within display cases. Curses will seek out these objects in order to increase their capabilities, spawning anywhere nearby. They fester on humanity as well, spawning at villages, and they may also lie in the dark fortresses of the Nether. Sorcerers will spawn around villages, with many familiar faces awaiting action. You may also find some unique NPCs, such as Toji Fushiguro, who can be hired to assassinate others.
Curses are immune to most conventional damage types, so you must utilize Cursed Energy or Cursed Tools to exorcise them. They heal slower, but more efficiently than sorcerers. They can eat Cursed Objects to increase their energy pool closer to max. They also gain access to more raw applications of Cursed Energy in the form of beams and blasts. Curses will not target other curses unless provoked, but will be exorcised by Sorcerers.
Sorcerers have access to Reverse Cursed Technique. This serves as their form of healing. It can be improved to become more efficient, remove negative statuses, and restore burnout at the cost of brain damage.
Cursed Techniques
A myriad of Cursed Techniques are available for players to explore and master.
Angel
Spoiler
Hana Kurusu's Technique. It allows the user to unleash the power of Jacob's Ladder, a devastating beam that disables Cursed Techniques for a duration, dealing heavy additional damage to Incarnated Sorcerers (Shift variant exists, may utilize it to place it at a location rather than having it auto-aim). Users of the Angel technique also receive Wings which can be toggled passively to allow for gliding and further dashes, as well as the capability to pass through barriers and veils freely. In times of desperate need, Jacob's Ladder can be unleashed at Maximum Output to fry a large radius. Combine these skills with your physical attacks and cursed tools to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Boogie Woogie
Spoiler
Aoi Todo's Technique. The user can swap positions with the clap of their hands. This can be used on blocks, as well as players and mobs. Swap enemies into their own attacks to make the most of your technique. You can even throw objects imbued with cursed energy in order to transport yourself quickly or set up to attack someone by swapping them into the item. Make sure to engage aggressively with your physical attacks and throw in some feints to confuse your opponents too! With coordination, you could be an amazing teammate, perhaps better than any technique.
Brain Transplant
Spoiler
Kenjaku's Technique. Upon killing a Player (or if toggled in Config, Sorcerer NPC), you will steal their body! This grants you their Cursed Energy Nature and Technique. You can utilize the Domain Expansion and Unlockable Techniques of the most recent body you stole. You also keep the nature of the most recent body. This allows you to mix and match up to two (configurable) techniques. This technique does contain a weakness. If your Cursed Technique is disabled, you will be stunned. This means the Inverted Spear of Heaven and Jacob's Ladder will confirm more hits on users of this technique. It is currently incompatible with Mimicry, but that will change in the future.
Curse Manipulation
Spoiler
Suguru Geto's Technique. Clash Royale meets Minecraft with this real-time strategy cursed technique. Utilize every curse in game in order to set up and destroy your opponents. You can ride many, and some even have exclusive moves that can be utilized such as Worm Curse: Grab and Fish Curse: Swarm. Around the world, you may find the Disaster Curses and absorb them. These will serve as your greatest assets, as they may cast their domains in battle. You can even enhance your own curses to become stronger, but that's not all. Maximum: Uzumaki. This skill allows you to launch a devastating curse explosion at your opponents that consumes active curses. After the curses are absorbed, you can recycle a Cursed Technique usage. Be wise with this, it's a one-time use, but it can come in handy. Mini Uzumaki can also achieve the same effect, and it's a great cheap tool for chipping down your opponents.
Cursed Speech
Spoiler
The Inumaki Clan's Famed Technique. Cursed Speech is a high-cost technique that rewards reading your opponent. It can set up nasty combos and it has utility in many matchups. It has an array of Damaging and Non-Damaging techniques. Words such as Die and Explode hold the technique's firepower, while Get Crushed and Don't Move allow you to land additional moves or go in with physical blows. It has access to the weaker Burn Up and Blast Away techniques, serving as disruptive tools to help you control the battlefield. In matchups against Shikigami users, it has access to Return, a powerful technique that drains you based on each Shikigami hit and their respective costs, but unsummons them putting them on cooldown. Run Away prevents usage of most attacks or techniques, but grants a massive speed and jump boost, Blink forces your opponent to blink and obscures their vision, and Shut It prevents your opponent from speaking or chanting techniques.
Disaster Flames
Spoiler
Jogo's Technique. Turn up the heat with a moveset that will cover all grounds! Disaster Flames holds access to attacks like Disaster Flames (yes it's called the same), a close ranged flame burst, and Ember Insects, exploding ranged insects that will zoom towards your mouse. You can utilize Ember Insects to pseudo-fly in order to increase your mobility, or you can set down rows of vicious volcanoes on any surface to control the field. You can also unleash beams of fire, and one of your more powerful attacks, Fireball, to deal great damage on a direct hit. This technique comes accompanied by its Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain. Anything inside will be targeted by a flaming magma rock sure-hit effect, cooking them if they do not respond. However, this technique's ace in the hole lies in Maximum: Meteor. This technique conjures a Massive meteor, and can even be chanted to enlarge it further. This meteor will devastate any opponent it hits even if they are just nearby, but it takes some time to unleash and land.
Disaster Plants
Spoiler
Hanami's Technique. This versatile technique capitalizes on playing defensively and waiting for opponents to make critical mistakes in order to apply its Cursed Bud effect. This effect damages the opponent if they utilize Cursed Energy, forcing them to avoid large moves during the duration if they seek to not take excessive damage. it also has Forest Wave and Forest Spikes to control the terrain, as well as Forest Dash to navigate quickly in battle. It can sustain its position in air and defend against certain attacks with Forest Platform. It also has a complete defense ability in the form of Forest Shield, which can be canceled at any point to move in. As mentioned before, this technique can apply the Cursed Bud effect. Two of its attacks do this, Cursed Bud and Disaster Plant. Cursed Bud is a projectile attack that can be utilized on a short cooldown to snipe opponents or punish them. Disaster Plant spawns a stationary large Disaster Plant that after a delay, rapid fires Cursed Buds towards an opponent. If they are not careful to be airborne near you, they can be caught by your Forest Root attack, they will suffer massive damage. The technique also contains a unique domain in the form of Shining Sea of Flowers. This domain slows opponents to a crawl, as well as lowers their attack damage and attack speed, which combined with Disaster Plants' reliance on having opponents in a limited space, is very dangerous. This persists even after the Domain falls, allowing you to capitalize on their weakened state even during burnout.
Disaster Tides
Spoiler
Dagon's Technique. A projectile heavy technique that relies on its homing to achieve consistent damage and set up fierce combos. It has access to moves like Eel Grapple and Disaster Tides, which perfectly complement each other. Disaster Tides unleashes 360 Tidal Waves, blasting anyone nearby if they do not move away. With Eel Grapple, you can make them take the full force of the attack by making them unable to move away from you. It also has the capability to put up a shield of water to mitigate attacks and blast opponents who stick nearby, as well as a water beam that can be used on a relatively low cooldown. Its greatest strength lies in Fish Shikigami and Death Swarm. These two attacks home in on the opponent and will devastate them if they do not use Cursed Energy Shield to block, or hide behind terrain. Death Swarm applies longer pressure and will allow the user to go in with more attacks, while Fish Shikigami can be used to pressure enemies and land quick damage. The technique also has a great Domain Expansion in the form of Horizon of the Captivating Skandah. This Domain will send sure-hit Fish Shikigami in a non-stop onslaught towards your opponent, evaporating their health. Utilizing Falling Blossom Emotion may help deal with the rapid attacks, but that also places the user at risk of being devastated by Disaster Tides' other moves.
Dismantle and Cleave
Spoiler
Ryomen Sukuna's Technique. A slashing based cursed technique with a unique open barrier domain, focusing on very high DPS and aggressive play but at the cost of high CE usage. It has access to Dismantle, a low cooldown, mid range projectile that does incredible damage and can be held down, and Cleave, a passive toggle which will activate on any melee hit on a cooldown, forming slash marks around the target and dealing very heavy damage if not blocked. These skills can also be applied in other forms, such as Spiderweb, a simple destructive AOE slashing move placed on a block nearby, and Dismantle Net, a large net patterned version of Dismantle with short startup alongside incredibly high damage and cost. It also has mobility in the form of Dismantle Skating, which allows the user to skate around on blocks like they were ice, although it makes turning difficult. You can unleash the true power of your technique with Furnace: Open, a powerful explosive projectile that does incredible damage if hit close to the center. But if that was not enough, the technique's strongest asset lies on its domain, Malevolent Shrine: A unique domain in that it contains no barrier, and targets everything within a wide range and flattens terrain. It shreds simple domain much faster than other domains and the Dismantles unleashed by it may even target Heavenly Restriction.
Idle Transfiguration
Spoiler
Mahito's Technique. This technique is suited for a Curse. It grants the user the ability to transfigure their body and manipulate souls in order to perform different attacks. You can give yourself wings, conjure an arm blade, create a gun to fire souls from, and even summon various sizes of Transfigured Humans. You can gather the souls required for certain moves by utilizing Idle Transfiguration and killing villagers or humans. Idle Transfiguration applies a stacking effect to opponents hit. This effect sets up for your Soul Decimation toggle, which will consume the applied stacks and deal MASSIVE damage, negating all protections. Combining multiple souls together allows the technique to access some of its stronger techniques, such as Polymorphic Soul Isomers and Body Repel. Body Repel is an exploding projectile that deals solid damage to enemies, scaling on the amount of Souls dumped into it. Isomers, while frail, deal solid damage and can disrupt your opponent with slams and barrages, allowing you to capitalize on that to land Idle Transfiguration. They even hold the capability to unleash Black Flash, making them dangerous if left unchecked. A great asset of the technique lies in Soul Reinforcement. This will transform any damage you take into Cursed Energy damage. You do not benefit from invincibility frames during this, but the ratio at which it translates damage is more efficient than any form of healing. This can be bypassed by Domain Amplification, or any cursed technique negation. If the user of Idle Transfiguration manages to land a Black Flash (as a curse), they can activate the Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing. This will amplify their capabilities all around, making the user very, very threatening. With all these tools, you may be wondering what else would you need. Well, it also has access to Self Embodiment of Perfection, a Domain that applies massive stacks of Idle Transfiguration. These can be unleashed to instantly/near instantly kill your opponent with Soul Decimation. You can even utilize 0.2 Second Domain Expansion with this to burst your opponent while they aren't expecting it (soul decimate + barrage during 0.2).
Limitless
Spoiler
Satoru Gojo' Technique. Harness the power of infinity. With this technique, you gain access to its neutral, positive, and negative applications. You can passively put up the neutral Infinity barrier. As with all of this technique, without the Six Eyes, it will be very draining. However, it offers complete invulnerability to all damage sources. The only way to hurt a user through Infinity is to negate the technique with a domain technique or negation method. This gives them an edge in their defensive capabilities, with the ability to utilize this instead of Cursed Energy reinforcement. The positive application of Limitless allows for flight, teleportation, and the use of Blue. It can be applied into fists to enhance attack range and power, or unleashed as the channeled Blue: Motion or released Blue: Still. With Reverse Cursed Technique, the negative application, Red, is unlocked. It gives the user a powerful and extremely agile exploding projectile blast. Together, Blue and Red can be combined to form the Imaginary Technique: Hollow Purple. Purple will penetrate and evaporate anything that stands in its way. If a chanted Red is fired into a Blue: Still, a massive Hollow Purple Explosion will be unleashed. Unlimited Void, the Technique's Domain, is among the strongest. It will damage the brains of anyone it hits, disabling all of their abilities and lowering their output the longer they are in it. Truly a strong technique.
Mimicry
Spoiler
Yuta Okkotsu's Technique. This technique grants the user access to Rika, a very powerful Shikigami. She will actively pursue and fly towards the enemy and can tank massive damage, which combined with the user's abilities, can put up great damage. While she is out, the user will slowly refill their Cursed Energy with her reserves, making it important for opponents to deal with her as soon as possible. Despite the already fearsome summon, the technique's true strength lies in its ability to copy Cursed Techniques. Users of Mimicry can copy up to 3 (configurable) Cursed Techniques and utilize them in combat. You can cycle through each of them by selecting them in your Radial menu, and you gain access to all of their moves barring Domains and Unlockable techniques. They will cost the user more Cursed Energy, but the sheer amount of combos and versatility provided is massive. But that's not all. When the time comes, Pure Love Beam can be unleashed. This technique unleashes a massive beam that decimates enemies' health, forcing them to gain distance in order to avoid its tracking. Once the technique is completed, Rika will immediately go on cooldown.
Mythical Beast Amber
Spoiler
Hajime Kashimo's technique. A technique that risks it all. Upon usage, the user's body will transmute itself into electricity. During this state, they will begin to rapidly burn through their cursed energy. However, they become immensely powerful, being granted an excessive amount of Cursed Energy output. As their body is transformed to Cursed Energy, their energy effectively becomes their health pool. The user gains an X-Ray Vision passive, highlighting nearby opponents and making them visible through walls to the user. The user also unlocks the ability to unleash powerful beams of electricity, as well as EMF blasts. The beam will shred through terrain and deal high damage, while EMF Blast stuns and damages opponents in a radius. Combined with Lightning Cursed Energy, this technique is monstrous in melee range. Being able to utilize Lightning's stun on melee attacks with the additional strength granted from the form makes it very menacing. All fun must come to an end though, as once the Technique expires, the user will entirely lose their experience (Configurable!).
Projection Sorcery
Spoiler
One of the Zenin Clan's inherited techniques. Projection Sorcery grants the user the ability to project their next movements in the form of frames. The Projection move itself can be utilized to reposition or attack directly, but its true value lies in the Frame Stacks it grants the user. The user can ramp up their speed the more Frame Stacks they have, and they are granted extended attack range and additional frame damage. The move must be utilized wisely, as maneuvering too wildly will trap the user in their own frames. Additionally, they can utilize the Twenty-Four Frame Rule to trap enemies in frames off of melee attacks. You can punch someone straight out of a frame, or you can trap them by clicking them or slamming near them. They can also project frames out into the air in order to unleash lines of explosions to attack from a distance. The trump card of the technique lies in its Domain Expansion: Time Cell Moon Palace. This domain's sure-hit effect will shred enemies at the cellular level, intensifying if they move.
Ratio
Spoiler
Kento Nanami's Technique. A high burst damage and momentum based 'punch merchant' with the ability to end fights very quickly if the user can time their skills properly. Getting down the precise timing is key to mastering this technique. Once you do, you have access to some of the highest melee damage in the mod. It contains a passive toggle in the form of Ratio Rule. Charging punch to around 70% and landing a successful hit will deal a devastating ratio attack, as well as having an incredible 1/20 chance to black flash. Slam charged to 70% will move much faster and also deal a devastating amount of damage with higher black flash chance. While in zone, these chances are raised to 1/3. Ratio also has Bisection, a timed skill that forces the user to stand still. Once the audio effect plays, release the skill to teleport to a target close to your cursor and slash them for low damage, stunning and staggering them if not blocked. Additionally, it has access to the extension skill Collapse, a timed attack that results in a extremely high damage explosion.
Ten Shadows
Spoiler
Another one of the Zenin Clan's inherited techniques, and more importantly Megumi Fushiguro's Technique. A resource management technique with the ultimate trump card. By using the various shadows from both the anime and the manga you squeeze out the most out of every shadow at your disposal, the loss of one can mean the strengthening of another through fusion. Attacking either in tandem with your shadows or while managing them silently in the background, you get closer to the ultimate countdown. The hardest shadow to tame, and the most difficult for anyone to deal with. The divine general alone can turn the tides of battle. Tame each and every shadow to make use of their lives or their abilities. Even without the Shadows, you can hold your own through techniques such as Piercing Water and Nue Lightning. It also has access to several shadow utilities such as storing objects and teleporting through shadows. Ten Shadows plays strategy, with the most outplay potential of any technique.
It is possible to spawn without a technique, but do not fret if you do! The New Shadow Style supports technique-less sorcerers with powerful Simple Domain techniques. Some curses also have techniques that may be used through various methods such as Cursed Technique recycling through Maximum: Uzumaki or Mimicry copying.
Traits
Many traits await players, offering different boons and playstyles.
Heavenly Restriction (Physical)
Spoiler
Toji Fushiguro, Maki Zenin. Utilize their power to achieve greatness in combat. You gain many, many boons from this in exchange for the complete loss of your Cursed Energy. Extra health, extra damage resistance, less melee skill cooldowns, superior afterimage dashes, faster recovery, a unique melee attack, unique interactions with many Cursed Tools, the ability to freely pass through Barriers, and complete immunity to sure-hit effects. You also cannot be seen unless someone looks in your general direction. Use this to your advantage to sneak up on opponents, and demolish them with your newfound strength.
Six Eyes
Spoiler
Grants Night Vision, ability to read Cursed Energy flows more clearly, and Halved Technique costs.
Vessel
Spoiler
Allows you to consume Sukuna's fingers and swap with him. He will attack users of Idle Transfiguration if they attempt to Domain you and are weaker than his current form. Also allows you to bypass Soul Reinforcement.
RCT Specialist
Spoiler
Allows usage of Output RCT. Deals damage to Curses, more than a charged punch! Heals sorcerers.
Incarnated
Spoiler
Grants the ability to utilize Hollow Wicker Basket, which is an unbreakable Domain Defense. It prevents you from utilizing your hands during this. Causes you to take more damage from Jacob's Ladder.
Perfect Body
Spoiler
The King of Curses' Perfect Body. It gives you Four Arms. These arms can hold Cursed Tools in the Curios slots provided. You can utilize Kamutoke with this, or other tools. Perfect Body also raises Physical damage and allows you to utilize Hollow Wicker Basket with no hand restriction in exchange for the extra damage.
Simurian (Command Only)
Spoiler
Completely unfinished, but it grants a covered eye overlay based on Maru and access to 110% Output passively. A cross-mod origin release will be linked here soon for usage with this.
Natures
Cursed Energy Natures exist, reflecting some of the different types seen in the manga.
Basic
Spoiler
The baseline, held by the majority of Sorcerers.
Rough
Spoiler
Sharp as a file, this Cursed Energy deals additional damage on physical hits. It also has a Thorns effect, dealing damage to those who strike you.
Lightning
Spoiler
Moving like thunder, this Nature causes physical attacks to apply shocks and stun. It also grants two attacks, Lightning and Discharge. Lightning strikes precisely towards where it is aimed, dealing a strong stun and damage. Discharge releases lightning like a wildfire, dealing AoE damage at the cost of high drains. When in water, the user's Cursed Energy will be dispersed over time. Combine with the Mythical Beast Amber Technique!
Divergent
Spoiler
Rarely sorcerers will lack full control of their Cursed Energy Flow. This causes attacks to have a delayed second impact. Sorcerers with this nature are said to be blessed by the Sparks of Black.
Veils
With a Veil Rod, you can put up a barrier around anything you'd like! With the new Altar block, you can use objects to assign rules to the barrier, dye it any color, or even make it transparent with glass. Keep out certain players using a nametag with their name, all curse or all sorcerers using cursed objects and tools, or even just disable griefing entirely within one using TNT. To get through a Veil, you must unleash a Domain to shatter it, or destroy the Rod at the center within. Some sorcerers may be able to pass through entirely with their abilities.
Domain Expansion
Certain techniques hold the ability to cast a Domain Expansion. These powerful techniques are imbued with the user's cursed technique and will apply a sure-hit effect to anything within. They will form around your terrain and leave it unscathed once it returns, so don't be too scared to use one in your base! In order to defend against a Domain, you must expand your own, or utilize a domain defense option such as Simple Domain, Hollow Wicker Basket, or Falling Blossom Emotion. In a Domain Clash, you must damage your opponent until one of your domains collapse. After your Domain dissipates, you will be left in a vulnerable burnout state. Sorcerers may utilize advanced Reverse Cursed Technique to accelerate the passage of their burnout state.
Cursed Tools
Sorcery Age adds several Cursed Tools from Jujutsu Kaisen. Ancient Shrines will generate around the map, containing these prized weapons. Find them and fill your armoury with tools that can complement different fighting styles. Some NPCs may also carry tools on them.
Chain of a Thousand Miles
Spoiler
A long-extending chain that can be utilized to pull oneself around and yank in enemies. When holding an item on the offhand slot, it will be swung using the chain and fired as a returning projectile when released. Heavenly Restriction users can move even faster with this.
Inverted Spear of Heaven
Spoiler
The legendary Cursed Tool able to pierce Infinity. Upon being struck by it, Cursed Techniques will be disabled for a very brief duration. Config is available to restrict it to Heavenly Restriction.
Split Soul Katana
Spoiler
This Katana bypasses all defenses when wielded by a user of Heavenly Restriction. This means it cannot be shielded against.
Hiten Staff
Spoiler
Ryomen Sukuna's legendary weapon. It grants the user a clearer state of mind, increasing maximum output when held to 110%.
Kamutoke Dagger
Spoiler
Another one of Sukuna's powerful tools. It deals a lightning stun on slashes. It can also be channeled to unleash a devastating large lightning strike.
Dragon-Bone
Spoiler
Maki Zenin's unique tool. It can store parts of the Cursed Energy of those who it strikes, and unleash it at 50% or more charge to deal an instant teleporting slash.
Slaughter Demon
Spoiler
The dagger entrusted to Yuji Itadori. It applies additional Stagger to opponents, facilitating combos.
Steel Gauntlet
Spoiler
Yuta Okkotsu's Gauntlet. It deals powerful damage and enhances slam.
Playful Cloud
Spoiler
A strong Cursed Tool that benefits greatly from its users Physique. It deals high damage and immense knockback. On Heavenly Restriction, its damage rises even further beyond.
Jet-Black Shadow Sword
Spoiler
Megumi Fushiguro's blade. Solid damage, but currently it does nothing special. Will change!
Polearm Staff
Spoiler
Maki Zenin's staff. It grants its user additional attack range for Punches and Barrages.
Nyoi Staff

FAQ
Why isn't x feature accurate to the Manga?
Spoiler
The mod was developed while the Manga was releasing. Some features have not been updated to be accurate (i.e. the specifics to Yuta's Mimicry), but I intend to make them as close as possible. Please stay tuned!
When will X technique be added?
Spoiler
Ideally I would love for every technique to be added in. This will take a while, but I hope that this dream can come true. If you would like to contribute, the GitHub is linked. The mod is fully open-source and you may contribute anything you feel could assist with development!
