Self-Documented
Includes a self-updating field guide, containing essences, anchors (items representing essences), effects (and their recipes), and types of places to look for essences.

Survey Bar
When you explore the world, the survey bar will clue you into the types of essence available in a space. Here, we have 20% striking, 20% repelling, 10% dynamic, 10% bound, 10% emission, 10% healing, 10% wet, and 10% solitary.

Placed Source Cage
The placed cage is a source cage, collecting essence from the environment. The cage in hand was right-clicked on the source cage to make a linked cage. You can take this back to your base to prepare an altar.

Placement Guides
Sources require a minimum distance between them. However, you don't need to guess where the border is

Unlinked Ley Cages
These are the linked cages collecting essence from distant sources. They're pale because the essence has nowhere to go.

Membranes Holding Anchor Items
Membranes holding anchor items, including a log, stone, torch, redstone, string, and water (from a bucket). The center two are in flat mode, the others are in hover mode.

Target Affinity Membrane
The affinity membrane now set up to be a target. Note the transparency... the membranes are designed to be invisible, and the cages can be stored elsewhere, and everything will work. This means your altar will be your design only.

Ley Cages Connected to Completed Altar
These ley cages are bright, because they have both a source and a target affinity membrane. They're ready to deliver essence as needed.

Sharpness Enchantment Prepared
The TNT represents "aggressive" and the flint represents "severed". This is the recipe for Sharpness, which works for the sword. The dots are particles showing the essence flow. We need redstone to start the process.

Setup without Essence Spectacles
The display is cleaner without the essence spectacles. This cuts down on visual clutter when you're not using the system.

Enchantment Underway
The enchantment for sharpness is active. The particles are no longer streams, but a gentle spray. Anchor items only *represent* essences, so they are not consumed and can be re-used.

Enchantment Without Spectacles
If you take off the spectacles, the gentle spray will still be visible. This is a magic mod, might as well make it look magical, right?

Accessibility
The client side mod options include options for protonopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia, as well as stopping the moving particle lines for those with photosensitive issues.

Full Information
The cages will show the essences they control, both in the cages themselves, and in detail when using the spectacles while looking at one. If colors are not clear, the symbols should be.

Full Informational Detail
Your spectacles provide details about the enchantment, including current process type and progress, maximum level supported, and upgrade requirements. The "waiting" line tells you your slowest essence. Jade is also supported.

Independent of Shape, No Multiblocks
You can make your altar look like anything you want. Affinity membranes are transparent, and ley cages can be buried, and everything will still work, allowing your altar to be anything you design.
