Glowtone 2.0.0 Alpha

Not the block! A utility mod providing easy resource-pack driven and highly optimised coloured lights, emissives, ambient occlusion, edge highlights and general block shaders. Check the Gallery for beatuiful examples from our built-in assets! Is not currently up to date with new features, we will update it soon.

Use the default provided lights, or our resource-pack for extra fancy shader driven visuals, or bring your own! Take a look at our assets for example useage if you want to set up compatability for your own mods or want to make resource-packs. Docs on new features coming soon.

This is an early release and is highly experimental! If you run into issues with our features or compat with other mods, please report on either our Discord server of GitHub repository. Feel free to make sugestions.

. . . yeah, technically this has shaders but they do not blow up low-end hardware and is functionally pretty different to shaderpacks.

Use the older available versions for the older and more stable feature set (just emissives)
