Every other GUI mod lets you change colours.
This one lets you change the art.
/guicrafter lets you start building your own GUI in game.

Your hearts don't have to be hearts. They can be bees. Or cookies, skulls, ships, cherries, ghosts, snowflakes, cats, crowns, planets, teacups, macarons, pumpkins, bones or roses. 173 shapes, and any of them can be your health, your armour or your hunger.
Then pick the background pattern behind every screen, the border framing it, the design of the item slots, your hotbar, your XP bar, your crosshair, and a colour for each, from a screen inside the game with a live preview.
Or click one of 52 presets and never think about it again.

Cursor. 50 crosshairs, each in filled or hollow outline. Heart, star, paw, bee, snowflake, classic cross, brackets. No separate mod needed.
Menu colour. Retints buttons and the title screen to match.
96 colours for every single element, independently.
52 presets
One click sets the background, border, slots, all three HUD icons, hotbar, XP bar, cursor, menu colour and every colour together.
Add your own art
Drop any PNG into .minecraft/config/guicrafter/assets/ and it appears in the picker alongside the built-in shapes, converted automatically. Small blocky images with a strong outline work best.
How to use it
- Press ] in game, or type /guicrafter (rebind in Options → Controls → GUI Crafter)
- Click through the pages down the left. The preview at the top updates as you click.
- Press Apply.
That's it. Changes appear straight away.
How it works, and why that matters
GUI Crafter doesn't hook Minecraft's renderer. When you press Apply it composites your look into real textures and writes them out as a normal resource pack in resourcepacks/GUI Crafter/, then enables it and reloads.
Three things follow from that:
It plays nicely. It's an ordinary resource pack sitting at the top of your stack. Anything not touching the GUI is unaffected.
Your look outlives the mod. Uninstall GUI Crafter and the pack it made stays in your resourcepacks folder, still working.
Client side only. Works on any server, including vanilla ones, because the server never knows.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
Suggestions
Want a shape, a colour, a pattern, a border or a whole preset? Leave it in the comments. Most of what's in here started as a request, and adding a preset takes minutes.
