Re:Zero Mod

This mod introduces powers, magic systems, and mechanics from Re:Zero into Minecraft. Originally starting out as a standalone "Return by Death" mechanic, the mod has expanded to include a comprehensive magic system, Authorities of Sin, and various iconic weapons and entities.

Mechanics

• Return by Death: The mod automatically sets checkpoints based on time intervals, sleeping in beds, or earning achievements. Upon death, the entire world rewinds to the exact time of your last checkpoint. This fully restores your player state (health, hunger, inventory), entity positions, and the world environment (undoing any broken or placed blocks).
• Mana & Od System: A complete magic system where players must manage Mana charging and Od. Casting without care will lead to Gate Strain and Defective Gate states, actively harming the player.
• Yin Magic: Players can cast spells such as Shamak (including Al Shamak to blind and disorient targets) and Minya (including El Minya chains and Ul Minya crystalline attacks). By acquiring Witch Factors, players can unlock permanent, game-altering abilities.
• Authority of Sloth: Grants the Unseen Hands ability, allowing players to grab, strike, and manipulate entities and objects from a distance.
• Authority of Greed: Grants a suite of abilities including Lion's Heart, Little King, or even Cor Leonis
• Weapons: Obtain the Dragon Sword Reid (which includes custom sheathing and blocking mechanics), and the Bowel Hunter's Blades

Commands & Configuration

The mod includes a dedicated configuration file to adjust Return by Death and magic mechanics to your preference. It also includes the following server admin and testing commands:

• /rezero checkpoint - Manually sets a Return by Death checkpoint at your current location and time.
• /rezero authority [player] [authority_name] [true/false] - Grants or revokes specific Authorities for a player (e.g., returnbydeath, sloth, greed).
• /rezero revive [player] - Manually revives a player when playing in Hardcore mode.
• /rezero halfheart - Instantly sets your health to half a heart to easily test death mechanics.
